Definitely check permit before they start your fence job. I paid and fill out the documents for permit but they did not pull a permit. I had to deal with county pull my own permit. Asked them to refund me permit that they charged and no luck so far. Stay away from
Them!!!

Look for another fence company. Secure Fence & Rail never completed my Permit for the fence they installed. They eventually filed the paperwork for the permit but never paid for it and picked it up at the city office. They are very unprofessional.

To start with this company and there peers did a great job! BUT?? After 3 months goes by, we come home and find a Card and information from the Brevard County Code and Permitting Department with a nasty code violation notice: Stated "we did NOT pull a PERMIT " for both fence installations?? We paid for both permits with our contracts on SECURE FENCE and they absolutely failed to do there job by getting the permits pulled?? I called them and notified this ordeal and ever since then we have not gotten any responses, emails, phone calls, text messages or anything in regards to there contract work. I demanded to see our permits and want a copy as soon as they get there act together. Maybe that's why they left Brevard County?? Doesn't matter cause now the Code Enforcement and Permitting department is on to there lack of permitting. Dozens of people have been taking advantage of this from what I was told by there own people. If you had a fence installed within this last 12 months, you better check and see if you really got a permit completed.

Two stars for good service from Sales Rep and installers!
However -5 stars for office staff.
For example after waiting months for installation, the estimated date fir installation came and went, no contact from office. My husband and I called and left messages five times during the week with NO return calls. On the 6th call the woman in the office said “what do you want now? We’ve installed the fence……..to which my husband replied “no the fence is not installed”. This woman said loudly “I show it was installed you send me a picture of your yard to prove it’s not there”, (Are you kidding me,)
We sent the picture?installation happened within a few days no call no nothing!
I would avoid this company at all cost until they clean up their office staff!

The contractors they hired did an okay job - everything leading up to it was not. Our point of contact spelled my name differently in every document, didn’t answer my texts/emails/calls (I followed up every few days regardless) for days/weeks, quite expensive for the level of professionalism I received, and even the day of I didn’t know if they were going to show up. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the fence only had a couple flaws and someone came the next day to check/fix them.

I would highly recommended asking for Dan, a senior salesman for SF&R. stopped by my home to see if we would be interested in a fence shortly after we moved in. This is my first home so i really didn't know much about fences. I liked his approach and felt he was very upfront and felt like he was a straight-shooter. My neighbor and I were considering going in on one side of the fence together. Dan came out and did the estimate and broke down the price of the side that i was going to be sharing with neighbor. they got the paperwork ready for city permit and submitted this for me. He worked with me on coming up with a payment plan and explained the process to me. As fences can be a little expensive I just sat on it for a while. Dan contacted me a month later and really wanted to do the fence. he worked with us a little more on price and it was the best offer we had gotten. after the fence was installed over this past weekend I can say I am very relieved and satisfied we went with Secure Fence and Rail.
Dan gave me a rough estimate of time when they would be ready. I contacted him two weeks later, he said they would be ready to the end of the following week. sure enough, they were. Two man crew . . . Amazing! They showed up earlier in the morning than the office said. dug the holes by hand in a little over an hour, left to go get the fence. Came back around 3pm and cemented the posts in the ground. This was a Friday. I asked if they were coming back Monday and they said they would be back tomorrow as they do not like to leave jobs unfinished like this. they were back first thing in the morning and custom fitted the panels in. they leveled everything and the fence is very even and looks fantastic! very impressed with the workmanship and efficiency of these two guys. could not have thanked them enough. I sat out a cooler with some Gatorade and water and they didn't stop until it was done.
the whole experience in dealing with Secure Fence and Rail was easy and pleasant. they really worked hard to get the business and i am happy i decided to choose them. In comparison, a few days later a neighbor a few doors down had the exact same style of fence put up from a different company. I texted Dan the picture and told him I was very happy that I chose SF&R to do the job.
SF&R has done other homes in our area and they also look great. They are consistent and will make the effort to earn your business. I am very pleased. happy customer here.

These 5 stars go to Julio and his team solely who did an excellent job! Julio has gone above and beyond making sure his customers are happy, I really applaud him and all that he does for Secure Fence and Rail if it weren't for him I wouldn't be writing a 5 star review, you are in the best of hands with him. When no one would return my calls on the business line (Emily), or emails on a followup part of the fence we needed, Julio returned my calls on his cell and answered all of my questions and ensured my husband and I were taken care of. He even sent someone out to make sure it would be handled properly and it was. Thank you Julio!

Very dishonest company. We were asked by the salesman to sign and initial a blank contract meaning we did not have our names on the paper and were told that the office will put in all our information and will send us a copy, but we never got one. And they didn’t give us a copy of our building permit . They did our fence about 3 weeks ago. Broke our sprinkler pipe and did not notify us and when we called the office, we were told that we declined the warranty, and it will cost $250 to come out and fix it when they caused the problem! We were never aware of such coverage. We were told they will fix whatever they break during installation. They don't back up their work. You are pretty much on your own once they put up your fence. They will charge you for everything after. I should have gone with my gut about this company from day one. Lots of bad reviews! But gave them the benefit of the doubt. Lots of issues with this business. Lack of communication between staff/clients. Doesn't give updates on where you are in the process. And when you call the office to find out, you get the run arounds, attitude from the receptionist and despite all that, no one will get back with you. It's a waiting game. When they schedule your fence, they will only guarantee it the day before. They rushed our fence. From what I have read from other reviews, it's common practice for them to stay till after business hours. They were working on our fence till past 9pm. It was wet,dark, and the neighbor started to complain. They tried to finish it in one day, although it was pouring rain on that day. Left a big mess on our lawn (piles of topsoil from all the digging, cement) we have to work our butts off to remove all the dirt which we believe should be their job to clean up after. No foreman on the site. Guy did not come until the next day. We think if he was present during installation, all these issues could have been prevented. The guys did not start work until 9 am. If they started earlier, they may have finished and missed the storm that afternoon.Their manager should have known better what the weather would be like that day. We are very disappointed. This company says it's owned by a veteran and that is also one reason we gave our business to them to support but this is not a clean company as far as we have experienced. I highly do not recommend!!! Beware of this company!!!

Dell & DJ did an awesome job throwing up my shadow box fence at my rental prop! 2nd fence Secure has done for me…will call for all my fence needs.

I highly recommend Secure Fence and Rail. From the ease of setting an appointment to Daniel's visit for lay out and estimate to the install with Corey, I could not be happier. Corey was an absolute pro installer and very nice man. He arrived on time and worked non stop to complete the job!

Very pleased with this company. Their lead time was 8-12 weeks, but they were actually able to get it done earlier. They were finished with install in a day. Material, pricing, scheduling - All top notch. Our sales rep, Julio, was the absolute best! Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Highly recommend.
