Amber, a salesperson, made great deal with me and my father, verbally. Therefore, I drove up from Fort Lauderdale to Titusville, as my dad had just leased a car from them a few weeks earlier; he had had a good experience. I told her I was offered $15,000 by CarMax in Orlando to purchase my car from me. She stated for 1-2000 less, I need not go all the way to Orlando. to sell the car to them. She and the person filling in for the finance manager wrote up the paperwork, and without reading the fine print on the paperwork as they were quickly pushing my 80 year old father, to just sign. One page after another. The verbal deal had been that after they paid off the loan on my car, I would receive $6000 from them and I would have reasonable payment on the Nissan. The check never came. My father called and they stated they owed me no money. After I re-read the contract, I found that they bought my car for a little over $9,000, from which they paid off the $4700 remainder of my loan on my former car. They told me if I gave them $3,000 toward my new car, for inception fees it would later be refunded when they sent the check for what was supposed to be $6000. Perhaps we were wrong in not slowing the flow of paperwork and signed as they had pushed us to do. But they had given their word and to they had gained our trust. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They took advantage of an 80 year old man and lied between the oral agreement and the written contract. They are thieves.
