Very nice rooftop dining and bar. Food was very good to go along with the views. To round it off they have live entertainment to set the perfect atmosphere.

This is a lovely little hotel. It has a great location with beautiful views of the bay. The room appeared to be clean and was very well equipped with everything I needed for my stay. The staff was friendly. However, the air conditioning in my room did not function properly. I turned it down to 68 degrees and the room did not get cooler than about 75 degrees.I informed the front desk and they told me that if I have the door open the air conditioning will shut off as there is a sensor. I did not have the door open, I went out on the terrace maybe twice to look at the view but it was a rather muggy weekend so when I was in I had the door closed and locked with the curtains open. Luckily I didn't spend a lot of time in the room.If I had stayed more then one night I would have requested a room change. This made my stay not so pleasant as the temperature of the room greatly impacts the quality of a guests stay.Apart from the room temperature it really is a lovely little spot ... hopefully they resolve the issue for the next guest.

My guests and I had a wonderful time at this hotel on my wedding weekend! The staff was very accommodating for a last minute late check-out request and the rooms were fantastic. My guests used the pools and ate breakfast at the hotel everyday and I did not hear a single complaint. The staff is very nice and working with Sarah to get my room block together was easy and completely booked via email. I definitely recommend this hotel to wedding groups and people in town on vacation!Rooms: The room was very clean and had nice amenities.

I loved this hotel. Check in was easy, the young lady working was very pleasant. She was able to get me in an accessible room last minute, which was very helpful. Room was very clean, decorated well,& loved the balcony. All around great hotel! I'll be back.

We booked a large room block (over 40 rooms) at the Marriott for my daughter's weeding at a nearby location. We also booked the rooftop terrace for the welcome party for the night before the wedding.Everything was great from the location and service especially with the Welcome Party. We had a beautiful evening with approximately 150 of our family and friends and it was a fabulous party.Our coordinators, Sarah and Nicole were fabulous, especially Sarah, who was working throughout the night to ensure that all went as planned.We could not have hoped for a better outcome. The feedback from the night was all positive with many guests saying that the welcome party was the best part of the wedding festivities.Both families would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to all of the Marriott staff for an awesome stay!Steve P.Noteworthy details: Guests staying at the hotel have use of the next door marina's pool with a great restaurant and bar. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed both the convenient location of the pool and bar/restaurant.

A lovely little hotel resort overlooking the marina. Heated pool, free parking, rooftop restaurant and the rooms are clean, large efficiencies with all the comforts of home. The employees were welcoming and efficient and the free breakfast was as good as any "included" breakfast I've had. Reserve with confidence.

We are deeply disappointed and regret doing business with your company!We are also very offended by the behavior of general manager Rob Alexandre, who said if we won’t leave them alone , he will report this to the credit card company as fraud.We chose this hotel for our wedding. Despite the long distance, before the wedding we stopped at the hotel several times to discuss all the details about the wedding. Unfortunately, I organized our wedding myself and recklessly relied on the hotel to host the wedding. Initially, my complaints were against the hotel restaurant, to which we paid 3,500 for food without alcohol. The complaint is that the restaurant did not have any feedback from us the entire time. We had the opportunity to talk with the restaurant manager only when the food we bought was taken away without warning, citing the fact that they do not have the right to leave food at street temperature for more than 2 hours. We were also not informed about this in advance. Also, the restaurant staff were very rude to us. Our guests noticed that the next morning after the banquet, they served the same potatoes for breakfast as at our banquet. I shared with the hotel GM that I was ashamed in front of the guests, to which GM Rob replied that it was not noticeable from the cameras that I was upset, since I was dancing and having fun. I don’t know what reaction they expected to see from me? What if I started swearing and crying? I am a well-mannered person and tried to distract the guests from the unpleasant and shameful situation of the behavior of the employees. So my complaint against the restaurant turned into a complaint against the GM about how he allowed himself to talk to people and potential customers. If he continues to threaten me with a complaint to our bank, I will definitely be here and indicate this.Food & drinks: Terrible service and okay food

Kinda out of the way. Captive audience. Horrible motel breakfast. Eggs in bag, cheap meats lots of breads fake juices. Decent coffee and oatmeal. Suites are fine. Beds ehh. I had tow trailer so it was a worry always parked in back of dark parking lot except one evening. By driving trailer I was addressed as the guest might not like a trailer parked up close like I was a grade below the others AND I was there longer paying more and eating and drinking at the Vista bar.Water pressure low for conservation pencil stream. Almost as snooty as a Hilton regular everyday Joe's probably think it's styling.Cocktail deck on roof ok with custom foods ok.Walkability: Not much 7-11 Shell station or Jolly Roger restaurant which was better,and Grille and Raw Bar next door

I love all the reviews from other individuals . I agree with the staff and the restaurant next door.. However would not stay there!Have no proof but something is going on that I do not feel safe.I, think something is going on.I'm on the elevator with a well dress man and 2 YOUNG Asian "GIRLS"My husband and I got in a fight that night and I left! I felt there was human TRAFFICKING and wanted nothing to do with it!

This is a great location to be near Fort Desoto Park, also easy to go to the Clearwater and Sarasota areas for a day. Beautiful big rooms, nice team (especially the bartenders), very, very clean and well maintained hotel, convenient concept. Nice sunset view.

Rooftop bar is very enjoyable. Nice view and very pleasant staff. There is a good selection of appetizers available.Food & drinks: The potatoe wedges are a favorite.

We haven’t stayed at the actual hotel as we’re locals and usually go a little further out for our “staycations” but we have been to the rooftop bar a handful of times for drinks and sunset.You can’t beat location — you have almost a 360 view and you can see the Skyway and the cruise ships going in and out.Lots of shaded covered seating — both high tops and low tables + couches. Definitely a nice breeze for most of the day.Service is hit or miss not gonna lie. All the food is brought over from the restaurant next door so if they’re busy, you’re last priority. Limited menu as well.

Rooms were fresh smelling, lots of clean towels. It had a refrigerator and a stove. The kids loved the pool and the breakfast buffet and roof top dinner were an added +++. Nearby beaches. Would have like a greater variety in menu but overall exceptional.
