Great place to relax, hike, bike, bird watch, and pick up shells. Plenty of parking. 5.00 for the day. Play grounds , dog beach, 2 fishing piers. Old fort to explore. White soft sand. You can’t go wrong visiting here.

First off why does Google list this as a hotel? LOL
While the park and staff were fantastic, the bathrooms are the worst I've ever seen. It made me physically ill; it was so disgusting, with toilets overflowing with feces.

We have been coming here every family reunion each year and absolutely love the park. The playground is great, the fort interesting, beaches are beautiful, the seashells are a highlight, the bathrooms are located throughout the park and there is a concession stand. I suggest going early. Even if not the crowd isn't too bad but the earlier the better. We went at 8:00 a.m. and we were one of two groups for the entire beach. Approximately 10:00 am most of the beach had people but even then it wasn't too packed at all.

This is a place to visit if you're looking for a full day of beach activities. The sand is awesome, and the beach is plentiful. Enjoy!!
