We were advised that a certain product was on special. There was a sign outside also stating that the product was on sale. When we presented the product for checkout we noticed that the discount was not given. We questioned the clerk and explained that we had counted on the special price. He seemed surprised, agreed that the special was supposed to be granted but told us that he couldn’t honor it. Something about Florida law prohibits him doing so. He called a “manager” over. He also could not help us. Sorry, Sorry,Sorry.

I have been an employee and customer at The Fresh Markets for the past 20 years. I love buying my meats and coffees there. However, I am disappointed in the Pumpkin Spice coffee this year. It’s more spices than pumpkin! I hope they can go back to the original recipe next year.

Fresh Market is one of my favorite stores to shop. Yesterday I stopped in to get a Salmon Bistro special. The associate at the deli counter said I’d have to come back later because it was frozen. I started to leave when another associate asked, after looking at my empty shopping cart, if I had gotten everything I needed. I said I was here to get the Salmon Bistro but was told it was frozen. He said he would ask the deli associate to make one up for me. I asked the cashier what his name was and he said Brian. Anyway the Salmon Bistro was delicious and Brian was very professional. My thanks to him!

Dave the closing Bakery Manager is the BEST! Fresh Market is lucky to have him. My fave crumb cakes had 1-left & were broken. I asked if there was another 1-in back. Sold out. Dave gave me the slightly broken crumb cake @ no charge. He is so genuine about “making his customers smile”. I absolutely love shopping here due to his OUTSTANDING cust service. He’s the reason I shop 3x/week at your store. I love you Dave! You made me smile tonight. Thank You.

Fresh market used to be one of my favorite places to go for various items. I hadn't been in a few months
So I thought I would pop in. I loved the seafood salad. However from the look of it today you could tell that it had been sitting there for a while. So I passed on buying it. They're not as friendly as they once were. Only one that was friendly was the group in the meat department. Maybe they were all having a bad day. And I witness one of the deli ladies being rude to another customer, and coincidentally the lady that was making sushi was not very friendly to the older lady that was asking her questions. On a good note the coconut shrimp was delicious.

I have been a long time loyalty member of the Fresh Market in Oxford Florida. I have always enjoyed your stores high quality hand made pizza for a long time. I just purchased a pizza today at this store and we had it for lunch. I don't know why the decision was made to start selling the pre-packaged pizzas that you are now selling. They are really poor quality. We felt like we were eating a cheap box pizza you buy at the grocery store. Flat taste , hard crust and processed cheese. We don't plan on purchasing pizza at this store any longer. What a shame someone decided to make this change!!

I enjoy shopping @ FM. There is definitely a curated selection of products that most other grocery stores do not offer. That being said I have had more hassles @ FM than any of the other stores where I shop. It's as though sales & marketing doesn't talk to operations. Today was the 4th time I bought something (as offered in the loyalty email) and was told the store was not offering what I showed them in the email...really? I went to the store because of the email, so that part worked. Then just to round out the experience I enter my phone number @checkout and the wrong price is charged. It seems as though the cashiers are used to this dance. They ask how much something is supposed to cost & I show them the email. It's a nice store but not sure it's worth the hassle??

As a retired chef from NEW YORK I have to say your chicken salad is the BEST we shop your store in the Villages and could not be happier especially with employees like ZACH who is such a pleasure to see ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My 74 yr old mother enjoys coming here for her health foods. She will only eat a strictly organic diet and they can provide for her dietary restrictions due to health issues as well. She doesn't like to shop anywhere because if this the only issue is sometimes the staff can be unhelpful and not willing to help you look for items that are out of stock on the shelves. If you ask them to look for backstock they seem "annoyed" other than that my mother enjoys the selection that like Whole Foods Market would have for her.
