600 US-441, The VillagesI was working on the parking lot sign fairly nearby the Petco. It's really hot in Florida right now so I was drinking about a liquids and add to use the restroom. Casher was very friendly and pointed away. Coming back to the front of the store I saw a very interesting multiple day timed pet fear that I was thinking that my wife and I could invest $149 in it cuz we're about to go on vacation a few days. She said don't worry about it our daughter would take care of the cat so I moved on. But that thing looks pretty neat I like it.

1950 Laurel Manor Dr suite 230, The VillagesOur dog has Addison's disease and we use this vet for her routine treatment and care. I cannot speak highly enough about the technicians, the vet, and the front desk staff. Having a dog with Addison's disease is not cheap by any means, and they work with us in every way possible, not only to educate us but to help cut costs in any way they can. Last week they even surprised us with a complementary haircut and bath for our dog as they heard we were having a hard time physically and financially, and I cannot thank them enough or explain how much that helped/meant to us as a family. We are blessed to have found Paws Animal Hospital.

297 Colony Blvd, The VillagesOrdered delivery for the first time tonight from our favorite local Mexican restaurant. I’m a traditional Chimichanga sort of person, but one evening in their restaurant, came across their “BROCHETAS” Described as a sizzling skillet of grilled steak or chicken, bacon, mushrooms, pineapple, onions and bell peppers, served with a side of tortillas. Loving all those ingredients, I knew I could break my tradition…and glad I did.

There are NO WORDS! The combination of tastes, the temp of the food, the quantity and quality of each person’s order… Sheer perfection!
We also ordered some queso and guacamole- Mmmmmm Mmmmmm!
Too bad I didn’t get pictures - the three of us were too busy eating in ecstasy.

1018 Canal St, The VillagesThis place was packed when we were in Brownwood a few days earlier for the Trump golf cart parade/rally, but this time only the inside seating was busy and there was room at the outside bar so we sat there. We had the black and blue flatbread and it was absolutely phenomenal! It's nice that they give you a bit of each ingredient on every bite such as one tomato per square and so on. The marinated steak they had on it had great seasoning which obviously sirloin typically requires! It was so good we ordered one on the happy hour menu along with happy hour draft beers, then we ordered a second one! Good conversation with people sitting around us, and ironically one couple (howdy James) lives one street down from our family member's house nearby and is also from north Georgia. Corky the bartender kept our waters and beers full. Be sure to ask him if he can do any better on the pricing so he can tell your ass to go down to Cody's Roadhouse for free peanuts lol Great place and can't wait to go back!

2542 Burnsed Blvd, The VillagesCome on down to have the best food around, Square 1 Burgers and Bar won't just blow you away with their food but also the impeccable service you will receive! Personally I eat at the bar with the best bartender of all Gerri for all my visits however there is wonderful table atmosphere as well and these employees really take care of the customers and will have you leaving full and satisfied EVERY VISIT!

RJ Gator's Florida Sea Grill & Bar
1015 Lake Shore Dr #1693, The VillagesPost Milton lunch at RJ Gators. Sumter Lake was still overflowing when we were there, so the boardwalk was underwater. But the restaurant is still open. We arrived just as they were opening, and since it was such a lovely day, we dined outside.
My wife kept it simple, ordering the chicken quesadilla, and I went for the chicken and shrimp skewers. Being the first one there, it seemed quite a while until our food arrived, but it made a showing. It looked and tasted great.
The service was very good and the prices were reasonable. I recommend sitting outside if the weather is cooperating. It adds to the adventure. Enjoy!
