Took Jeep in to have oil changed and all point check. Got on interstate and vehicle began to overheat. Second time we took car there and within a day someone went wrong.

Repaired door latch assembly less than two years ago and reported a problem the day after. Was told it was working as designed. Not true, and now it failed completely. The response from the manager was, "I was not here when it was worked on in mid 2022."The owner's response is worthless. I sent them the requested info and they have ignored. Beware of this place!

I chose this Pep Boys location due to the great reviews but I unfortunately did not have such an experience. Scheduling an appointment and dropping off my car first thing in the morning went great. I was experiencing intermittent issues with my car not starting. I asked for that issue to be diagnosed and a full inspection. I received a quote within a few hours for the likely issue and other maintenance that should be performed. No issues there. I never received an update that my car was ready to be picked up until I called an hour before closing. When I showed up to pick up my car, they had lost my car key. Completely gone. Nowhere to be found. The three gentlemen left in the shop spent an hour looking for it with no luck. No complaints about them. I left and requested an update on my car the following morning. The following morning the shop was open for two hours before I called and was told by Morris that my key "just showed up." When I arrived to the shop, Morris said "Sorry about that. That was my fault. I sent your key home with the wrong person." I paid diagnostic, the repair, and an oil change only to go out to my car and it would not start. Morris took a look and told me that the issue with my car was the ignition switch and it would have to get worse before anything can be done about it since it does not cause problems all the time. Just a terrible experience from the lack of communication to the loss of my key and sending it home with a stranger, and ending with my car's issue not even being resolved despite paying for a diagnostic and repair.

When I brought my car in for the second time my engine light came on two weeks after I thought it was fixed I expected another big bill. I was surprised when I was told that there was no cost. It takes a caring company for its customers to do this. This is an honest company and it's staff are part of that. Morris and Nick are great. I will be coming to Pep Boys for all my car needs. I would recommend them to everyone.

Their online appointment system is useless.They let you make an appointment for a certain service at a specific time (which is different from the drop-off option very clearly), only to go there be told you will have to wait behind in line for some other people who have their cars dropped off plus what's funny is they don't even have a time when it will be done, just that "we have a very long line and text you when it's done."The employees need to be educated about this and stop their company from using this appointment system with their store that deceives customers about having an actual appointment time when it's just a drop-off and leave time which is not what is communicated. They either have no integrity to properly provide the services they say they will or just a terrible lack of organization.
