ACE Hardware Review
WOW! They really are “The Helpful Hardware Store.” Let me tell you how helpful they are.
I had a problem mounting a TV to a TV stand. I was having an issue with the TV bracket. The screws provided with the mount were much larger than the pre-drilled holes on the bracket, so I had to use smaller screws on the TV.
As I started to mount the TV, the fourth screw would not fit. I searched my supplies of many screws and could not find one that would fit. So, I took the back of the TV and went to ACE Hardware to find the screw I needed.
The first person was helpful, and we went straight to the screw department. We could not find the right screw after testing on their screw finder. Another clerk named Shawna came over and jumped on the problem. She went on the computer and researched the problem. Still, the screw was not identified.
The store manager came over, and still, the screw was not found. Meanwhile, Shawna was still searching on the computer. I suggested the screw and the screw hole were damaged. Shawna finally identified the screw. Then the search began for the screw. Shawna was all over the store, opening many drawers, and finally found the screw. However, the screwhead had a very different head. I said, “Don’t worry, I have every screw bit and would find the right one.”
However, the screw was damaged and wouldn’t fit. I asked if I bought the die, could they rethread the hole. Shawna asked the manager, and he retapped the screw hole, and the problem was solved, thanks to “The Helpful Hardware Store.”
The above process took at least 45 minutes. My purchase was $14.76 for the screws and the rethread die.
So, if you have a hardware problem, no matter if it is large or small, take it to ACE Hardware, and I am sure they will do their best to solve the problem.

Although it is an Ace, this one in particular has a very limited selection and I tried going in a couple days ago and they ended up closing the store earlier than posted. Very sad to have wasted the time and gas driving there for nothing

This ace hardware is always clean and full of ace assistants who always know exactly where to go to help me find what im looking for. Checkout people are really nice and keep the lines moving.

Bob, an Ace employee, delivered a new 2-Burner Weber Gas Grill to our home address. He was very punctual, careful and helpful in dong so. He installed our LP Gas Tank and gave us a few instructions in operating the grill and reminded us to sign-up for the 10 year warranty. We regard The Villages Ace Hardware as one of the very best stores to shop at for many of our household needs Thanks to employees like Bob! - Sam & Char Williams

ACE Hardware store on Wedgewood in The Villages is an outstanding store. They have most hardware items you would need and the employees are very helpful and friendly.

Most businesses cannot get help. But ACE Hardware, When you walk in the door you almost ALWAYS SEE 4 cashiers. And 1 or 2 people just waiting to guide you to what you need to buy, And these employees are always highly trained!
They are not only courteous and professional. But know exactly where everything in that story is. It's just remarkable! I truly admire their management! They have created a system and there stores are unique.
I can't think of another business that is as well run! LOVE THESE STORES!
