Great local gaming store. Staff was super friendly and immediately welcomed me when I entered. They have a great selection of board games, DnD books and miniatures, painting and hobby supplies, and games workshops games. Definitely worth a stop if you're visiting the city.

Been going to Armada on and off since the late 00s, back when D&D 4e and its "Living Forgotten Realms" program. Recently returned after long hiatus, and the store is running well as ever. An exemplar of the acronym "FLGS" -- friendly local game store!

They were really cool about me buying 2 decks of singles prior. And I'd like to note they were not rude by any means in our last interaction. However, they were to busy (chatting with regulars who stopped to buy a drink and people in the other room playing games so maybe a tornament or something) to check/sell around 60 mtg singles for me. I was instructed to email them and they will give me a price list when they can get to it, because the wait would have been a long time. I offered to come back the next day, but that wasn't sufficient. In comparison to other brick and mortar shops they are amazing. Thanks to tonight, I'm done supporting brick and mortar, online it is I suppose.
Edit: don't bother calling to speak to a manager/owner. The employee will refuse.

Just take a look at how the owner replies to bad reviews, this guy is not a good business man nor is he pleasant to speak with in person. 1st and last visit. Take your business to a shop that will treat you like a genuine person and will value your business. I recommend sunshine games down the road from them.

If you go to Google and you say Yu-Gi-Oh near me this store was still pop up but they don't have anything Yu-Gi-Oh not even card sleeves for the size of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. So great place for magic the gathering and any other thing other than anime card games. I already made this review just to inform people just in case they go here for Yu-Gi-Oh

Small but mighty shop.
Solid sized gaming area.
A staple in the Bay Area for as long as I’ve lived here.
Excellent for Magic the gathering and Warhammer.
But also perfect for finding new tabletop games all around ands space for play.
Will always check here first for what I need.

Not only is everyone there friendly and willing to help as I was learning warhammer, the clerks are very informative about any question you could have. Was given an in depth breakdown of each deck from the new mtg commander set which helped me make my decision. I’d recommend armada to anyone and everyone who likes tabletop games.
