Love that they help the birds! The sanctuary could use some rebuilding to provide the birds with better habitats. Definitely sad seeing the birds in some of the cages they are kept in.

What an amazing place! The injured birds are doing so well that even the fit birds try to break into the aviaries. Beautiful, well-maintained facility. Unfortunately part of the path was closed. We would have liked to see more.

This place is amazing. Wild birds come from outside to hang out with the birds that are rehabilitating. It's even cooler than it sounds. Make sure you donate to these guys so that they can keep it going if you got anything to give.

Loved my visit! The birds were delightfully interactive.
There’s a nice view at the end of the boardwalk too.
I wish they had the bird’s names and stories listed on their enclosures. (I found a only a few of the bird’s names/stories on their facebook page)

Great little sanctuary. Wheelchair accessible! The enclosures are well tended, and the informational placards are well made. Free Wi-Fi available to upload your photos too.

Nice place to see some caged recuperating wild birds. Free but donation box at entrance. Worthy cause.. This is not a large place. 15 minutes to half hour or less walk on boardwalk around the cages. Not a lot of parking. Careful entering and exiting from Rt 1. Great break if headed to Key West.

Worth the stop. They help many wild injured birds get back to the wild.

June 2023 - So glad we decided to visit. Nice walkway with large, clean areas for bird rehabilitation & care. Informative signs explaining bird types, native area map and interesting facts. Free self guided tour with a donation.
