I had a pre employer drug screen scheduled at this location. I received an email from a possible employer that request I schedule an appointment. When doing so it listed the closest locations by zip. I am not familiar with labcorp and was unaware that some locations don’t provide all services. The receptionist made me feel like I was an idiot for thinking I was going to get a drug screen done at the location. She kept asking for paperwork, which I had in an email but was flustered by her animosity. I learned my lesson to ensure that drug testing is provided before scheduling an appointment. I ended up in Leesburg for a walk in and the receptionist was as kind, understanding, and helped me through the process. I’ll gladly drive the extra 20 minutes for the service.

It is sad to report after 8 years of living in lake county fl. I never experienced or witnessed such disgusting behavior when I went into labcorp in Tavares 2730 Dora Ave. There was a young lady by the name of Mickey (PST) there. She was the front desk person and also drawing blood. She was loud and had a very unprofessional nasty attitude towards the patients there including myself. She did not want to answer questions and did not direct the patients correctly to sign in using the kiosk.I have pics and videos to confirm this behavior and I will be posting them on social media . I know I arrived early to my appointment. She made me wait over an hr until my appt time came up when there was no one in the waiting area. As a supervisor in the health care management system she would be definitely trained correctly. Please allow her to respect her elderly at all times!!! If you don’t like your job, then get a new one! Times are tough!!!

The two ladies who work here are rude. If you are burnt out from your job, you shouldn’t take that out on clients. Witnessed one of the ladies rolling her eyes at an older gentleman because he wasn’t understanding what she was saying. Customer service doesn’t exist anymore in this world. They should replace phlebotomist with LPN nurses, nurses are trained to have compassion and empathy.

Had a UA done on Weds. morning for an acute UTI. By Friday night results were still not available resulting in a trip to the ER. Completely unacceptable!!! A preliminary report was all my doctor would have needed to treat me while you did cultures on the side. Instead, I was forced to use the ER for something that should have been handled between you and my PCP. Shame on you! You CAN and SHOULD do better.You asked me to DM you my date of birth, etc. There is no option to message you so how would you suggest I do that?

My wife and I had a very positive experience at the Labcorp office in Tavares, Florida. Mickey was very efficient in drawing our blood for a blood test. My wife is normally fearful of needles and sometimes faints. But, Mickey’s bubbling personality and funny stories kept her distracted. We actually left the facility laughing ?. That is a first ever. Thank you, Mickey, for your professionalism.

Only one staff member to do 3 jobs. I was a walk in and the appointments came first. She was very pleasant but overwhelmed. The wait was over an hour and a half for me, others waited 2 or more hours.

Dec 28, 2023 8:30 am.Receptionist with attitude, not friendly and chewing gum. Same person took my blood test and things get worst, her attitude to treat patience is zero beside she was continuously chewing gum but now during the blood test she was doing bubbles. Simply disgusting. I am not recommending this place and I will never come here again.

Set here a whole hour. Very slow looks like it's only me person here drawing blood. Lady at the front desk sounds aggravated. Don't go unless you made a appointment
