Based on a long-time Tarpon resident referral, I took my 2105 Honda CRV to Tim’s to replace the starter (January 2023). Tim did a great job and it worked perfectly until a few weeks ago (March 2024) I took it back to Tim knowing it was out of warranty and was expecting a big bill. Tim took the initiative to go back to the supplier and lobby on my behalf. He convinced the supplier and all the work (including Tim’s labour) was covered. Imagine my happy surprise when he said “no charge”. Tim is a an amazingly hardworking and honest person who really cares about his clients (even the snowbird ones). Super happy and now I’m super loyal to Tim’s shop. Give him your business, you will not regret it.

Very Impressed with this shop. I have a 2011 6.7 Cummins. I blew one of my turbos and had a A/C leak that I could not fix before I moved to Florida. They got me up and running perfectly!! Thanks

We had concerning noises coming from my truck's engine. Tim was so kind, professional, and caring. He was able to look at the truck VERY quickly and was very fair and reasonable. He also wanted to make sure we weren't going to be charged for unnecessary diagnostics or repairs. He just seems like a very honest guy. We will absolutely be coming here for all of our automotive repairs from now on. Highly recommend!

We took our service truck for an oil leak. $5,000 later, it was leaking in the same location within a couple days. Had to take it out of service again to try and get it fixed right. Charged us around $2-3,000 more… a week later still leaking in same spot. Had an employee take it back to discuss, and we’re told it’s just one of those trucks…We had initially taken to a Ford dealership and they had quoted a little higher initially than Tim’s, and after looking at it after Tim’s worked on it, it now cost $11,000 to fix what Tim’s damaged. Got it fixed properly, and discussed with Tim. He takes no responsibility because we had the audacity to take it somewhere else… he says they now have no responsibility for it. Incredibly bad ethics and work. Beware.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Be careful with this place. They will keep you car for 4 months for nothing. You will waste your time and money because they will not do anything to fix your car. And even though they don’t charge money while they keep the car, you will definitely loose business and money because they will keep it for a while. Try to find another place for your car. Watch out ?️

Took truck in for a major oil leak. Paid over $5k, leaking in the same location a week later. Took in again and paid $2-3k more.... A week later he says it's just one of those trucks.... Took to a Ford dealership and $11,000 later it got fixed right.. they said this shop did more damage than when it was initially a problem.Tim won't refund any money and says they did a good job. Wow.

This is the best shop to take your car to in Tarpon. Tim takes great care of his customers. Recently took my truck in and he assured me I was in good hands. I highly recommend Tims Performance!
