I have always loved the sponge docks. I went into shell shack looking for souvenirs to take home. The lady (Suzanne) that helped me was extremely helpful and funny. Great experience. Will definitely be back and looking forward to her helping me have a good experience again.

I'd like to talk about a woman we met her name we think is Suzanne, she was very helpful as well as being knowledgeable about the area, she made us feel as though we'd know her forever. We'll becoming back again. I invite people to come meet her, she alone will make your day.

Best customer service!I went here last month while visiting a friend, and when I checked out 2 sponges managed to get left behind. My friend who lives there went back a few weeks afterwards and they remembered her and gave her the sponges that had been forgotten! Cashier was incredibly friendly and fun, staff was really helpful and over all just a great vibe in the store. will definitely come back again (hopefully soon)!

This is not based on me walking inside the shop. Just customer experience. I was looking for an abalone shell, asked the lady who answered the phone if she sells them and she was helpful with providing me information on the item that I was looking for. I tend to ask too many questions, which I understand that not everyone has the patience or even time to answer. One of the questions I asked was if the items they sell are real, out of curiosity and nothing else, I have never seen this shop but that seemed to annoy/offend the lady I was taking to on the phone, that was not my intention. I have never been in this side of Florida, and that’s why I also bombarded her with questions. Back to the point, after getting annoyed with my constant questions, her tone changed and the way she let me know that she had customers was rude. That is how I felt, maybe that wasn’t her intention, but that is how she came across. The tone she used and how she said “You have an hour left and a for you to come down here you’re going to pay for a full day of parking.I have customers waiting in line right now. Do you need something else?” Again the tone she used with me is what I didn’t appreciate. I understand that my questions weren’t important, or I might’ve even just asked a stupid question or made her think that I was pranking her by accidentally calling the abalone shell a bowl, all I want to say is that she could’ve used a less rude tone, especially if you don’t know someone on a personals level, they have not used disrectful words or tone with you, or if they never even knew that tarpon springs was a town in Florida. There are a lot of people like myself that have lived in other states prior to Florida. I appreciate the time that anyone takes to read this review, specifically the employees, employers, and the lady herself.

I love to visit and walk the beautiful small town of Tarpon Springs.So before heading North I had to make one more visit.My favorite store is TARPON SHELL SHACK .I was so thankful SUZZANN was again there to help me with my sponge selections. She was so knowledgeable and helpful the last time I visited.Their clothing, gifts, and home décor are always plentiful and fun.MAKE SURE to stop at this store when in beautiful Tarpon Springs – and ask for Suzzann - you wont be sorry !
