Extremely rude man working there on 7/15/2023. Very condescending. Your customer service skills are 0. I will tell everyone I know to NEVER visit this store. EVER*EDIT* I just found out from another shop in this area that he's the owner. That makes this even worse! Apparently he's disliked by almost everyone in this shopping district and treats people... customers AND fellow shop owners...with much disrespect. Sir, maybe it's time to retire and be bitter in your own personal space, away from the general public. This is definitely NOT your calling!

We saw shirts on display outside the store and decided to purchase one.The man behind the counter was extremely rude to us. We asked for a shirt size and he brusquely replied they didn't carry the size, yet the window advertised otherwise. Initially we pondered and thought maybe he was having a bad day and shrugged it off, giving him the benefit of doubt.We proceeded with perusing another item. When we went to pay for the shirt, he responded "These are cheap shirts". It was his tone and attitude that was uncalled for towards us. In addition, why would a would a store owner or employee readily make a derogatory statement a product which is sold at the place of business? (Rhetorical question).We were in disbelief about his attitude and left the store without purchasing anything.Out of curiosity, we did a Google search, then took pictures of the store. The man exited the store and inquired why we were taking pictures. We addressed his mannerisms, poor use of word choice, and behavior that was deemed rude and unnecessary to customers wanting to purchase merchandise from his store. His cantankerous attitude didn't change. He retorted "stop taking pictures and get out of here!"We wouldn't advise shopping here, but it's your prerogative.

Very rude. Brought up politics while I was trying to shop and made me feel very uncomfortable. He blamed his high prices on politics and told us how he couldn’t believe a friend of his political views and no longer speaks to that person. My mother stopped him and said she disagreed with him and he then became very rude. We just wanted to shop. I asked to take a photo of the shirt I was going to buy my husband and he told me under no circumstances was a photo allowed? So my money went elsewhere. He should stop blaming politics on his poor sales because it’s really his own angry, nasty attitude which attributes to that.

Had been two years since my family and I were able to be in the area but two years ago I left this store with two of the best shirts and memories of a great sales experience--and I really don't like shopping for clothes. The owner sells quality and knows the product lines he carries very well. Fast forward and we were passing through Tarpon Springs on vacation. Luckily, the store and owner were still there. I happened to be wearing a shirt I bought there two years prior. He immediately recognized, determined my shirt size without asking and started helping me by pulling the shirts that would fit. He also talked with my wife and grown daughters while I was trying shirts on to get their opinions. Overall, an excellent experience and I left with four new shirts! Highly recommend.

This guys horrible to people he doesn’t deserve anything dealing with the public the way he talks to our customers!!..example…I had a customer ask where my store was and he said he wasn’t a directory and unless they bought something in his store he was not gonna tell them where we were!! He’s so gross

The man running it, is very insulting and rude. Its in thesponge docks in Florida. He called Cincinnatians cheap straight to our face. DONT GO IN THERE. THAT OLD MAN IS BEYOND RUDE

Every time I visit Florida I make it a point to visit John and see what he has new. I have bought some fabulous clothes from him. Excellent quality and great value. I consider John a friend. This is my favorite men’s store.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Went with my husband to look at shirts. Owner was all up in our faces showing him shirts he didn't like. Insisted they are good shirts. We never questioned that. Said we would come back later with the person we were shopping for and dismisses us with "ok goodbye," in a really rude sarcastic tone. I was so shocked I just left. I wish I told him what a rude little troll he is, but hopefully this review means more than my words to him directly.

The owner is just plain rude. We live in the area and have been trying to visit the store but it seems to be closed more often than not. My parents came to visit and we decided to take them to the sponge docks and for the first time they were open. We had been browsing their clothing for less than five minutes when the man at the counter curtly asked what we were looking for and we told him we were unsure, at which point he told us that he "doesn't need this" and told us to leave the store. He was unfriendly the entire time we were in his store (again less than five minutes.) It was decent quality, but frankly a bit overpriced and his bad attitude shows why we have never seen customers in his store nor it ever being open. The worst part is that my wife has really been wanting me to get some new all-cotton clothing and would probably have bought several items from him otherwise. Lost business and I'd avoid it if I were you. There is another store that sells the same type of clothing nearby and they are much nicer

Never met such a RUDE business owner!! Very disrespectful. Went down the hall and found same items cheaper and that owner was so helpful and nice!

This is a wonderful store good quality clothes at good rates and John is very friendly
