“The attention to my car and condo insurance has been efficient which is where the above rating applies . However, I take issue with my recent, first annual participation, in Allstate’s Roadside Assistance program. The first time I used it to have a flat tire changed at a location away from home, I was charged $99. before I could even book an agent to travel to me for assistance. When onsite, there was an additional $20. charge to plug a hole in the existing tire. When I called the next day to cancel this policy, I was given 4 phone numbers, none of which were able to assist me in canceling what I found to be a lacking program. The Allstate office claimed they did not have the ability to do so either. I gave up after that. When I have the time and patience to revisit this unfortunate situation I will do so.”
