I’ve been taking my pets to Dr. Ivey and the Hidden Oaks team for 15 years now. Two dogs and now 2 cats, I always know they are in good hands. Dr Ivey and the staff always take their time explaining everything thoroughly, and they check up the next day to see how things are going. I live 30 minutes from their office and drive by a dozen vets on my way, but it’s worth it for our fur babies!

The staff and Dr. Ivey were excellent. I just received my dog (a one year old white standard poodle). The care and planning were excellent and looking forward to the care with my new "kid".

I really want to love Hidden Oaks, I really do. There's so many great things about it. They have a great kennel and friendly staff. Although I haven't met Dr. Ivey in person, her communication with me has been excellent. Unfortunately, they are on the pricier side for services and that is why I'm only giving 3 stars. For a Bordetella booster it cost me $71, which is absurd. $36 for the vaccine (in line with most places), $23 for the tech to literally inject it for 5 seconds, and then $12 "hazardous waste fee" to literally throw out a syringe that doesn't even have a needle! My usual vet doesn't charge a hazardous waste fee and only a $5 tech fee for this, but unfortunately I needed this on short notice, so I had to pay the premium. If I could give any advice to the practice, it would be to look at the fees and try to get them more affordable. Beyond the priciness, it's a great practice.Side update (2/22/24): Received in the mail today the rabies license for one of my dogs. That dog received the vaccine last October from Hidden Oaks. It was a little confusing to receive that almost 4 months after receiving the vaccine.

I enjoy the staff and the Dr. and the fact that they are so close to where ai live. I do find the pricing to be extremely high. It was close to $700 to have my healthy 4 yr old dog Spaded.

Absolutely awful place! If I could give zero stars I would! My dog was rushed in for an emergency in May of 2023. I was very scared and thought she was dying. I begged them to call me as soon as she was assessed. I called 3 times throughout the day, desperate for some info and they kept blowing me off. I called a 4th time at about 4 pm when I finally got some answers. They never authorized any treatment or discussed pricing with me but were quick to hand me an almost 1,000 bill for treatments that were never discussed with me! Several months later when one of my other pets needed vet care, I decided to go to another practice. I requested that they transfer the records to the new practice. I had to call several times asking over the course of a week and they never completed the request. The new vet even called to request the records and they still didn’t send them. I finally got upset and called with frustration. I got hung up on and put on hold instead of help. Awful awful customer service!!! Don’t go here if you care about being informed about your beloved pets!!!

The staff is extremely caring. Ruth is great she does understand and knows what to expect from a ChowChow "Xena" which is very hard to find a person that does. Dr Ivy is the perfect veterinarian she is a very capable doctor

Dr Ivey and the staff at Hidden Oaks are amazing! They truly are a blessing to us to have found a vet we love so close to home! We recently boarded our babies there while we were on vacation, and it was a great experience! We got pictures almost everyday and it was such a comforting feeling seeing how happy they were there, and it truly made our day! They always call to follow up after a visit to see how they are doing, and always make us feel at home when we are there. The best experience we have had with a vet since moving here 4 years ago and can't see ever changing!

I made an appointment for my Rabbit to see Dr Ivy for a twisted nail, possibly a broken toe. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30 today. I get a call this morning that the Vet is in an emergency surgery and could I come at 4:50. I said sure, no problem. I took time off of work, so I definitely want my rabbit seen today. I get a call at 4:00 that the appointment needs to be cancelled/rescheduled. The only hours they have are during my work hours, so now I can't even get her seen by the Vet. I guess my pet isn't important enough to take the time to see her. Very disappointing!!!

This is my dog and cat's primary vet. I've never had a bad experience with this hospital. Dr. Ivey (I hope i spelled this right) is the most compassionate vet I've ever spoken with. She is so willing to work with pet parents and make sure that they know all of their options for their fur babies. The staff is equally as pleasant and supportive. I truthfully don't think I'll ever trust another vet as much as I trust this team.

Our pets have been with the team at Hidden Oaks for a very long time. They are the greatest, most loving people with the best care that you’ll ever find anywhere. We drive 2 1/2 hours to see Dr. Ivey and her outstanding team. You should too.
