Gave over $1000 and was ghosted. Yoga Alliance didn’t help either. There is no hope. Please read all the other reviews as the hurt is real. Please refund my money, take me off your email lists & either give me wine or my money back for the vineyard that never turned into anything.Refund all of our money, you have so many ppl upset with you.

Black Prana Yoga was excellent!Ashley ran a 200hr yoga teacher training course during the pandemic in 2020. I believe I took the course in the summer. It was not easy. I am so glad that the course pushed me physically, mentally and intellectually. We learned about the history, yoga as it relates to the black woman and spirituality. We learned mind/body connection and had a host of professionals teaching different aspects of the practice. Everything was online in zoom and we came together as a group learning and growing deeper in the practice. I hope it hasn’t changed, but I fear it has as her audience grows (as I’ve read some negative reviews) and she learns to manage demand on a larger scale. I hope all the best for Ashley and I am grateful to have gone on my teacher training journey with her and my cohort.

It's downright evil of Ashley Adams to create a yoga scam targeting Black and brown people in the yoga community. I joined her 300 hour at a steep discount and paid for a manual I never received. She had an excuse for that (something with the "printer) and said a lot of things that now made sense as far as it goes with her intentions. For example she told us if we can't find something in the thinkriffic portal, she will not tell us where it is because she wants us to learn how to use I ourselves when in reality, she just doesn't upload anything. She made us schedule a 15 minute meeting and offered no follow up information, no zoom link, nada. She ghosted me and whenever I asked her about it, she ignored that question to briefly address other questions I had (no helpful answers)She is a scam artist and the fact that she'd want to hurt her own for a quick buck is absolutely disgusting.

Its a shame that I have to leave this review, especially since I took the 200hr yt course in 2020 and it was a great experience for me. Now they are scammers, stealing money. I signed up for the prenatal course that was supposed to start Aug 12, did not receive any information to join the course. I sent several emails regarding the course with no answer. I disputed the charges with my bank and afterpay. The only response to the class was to the afterpay dispute when they showed authorization for payment but no explanation as to why the course was not rendered. BEWARE. Afterpay honored the merchant because the charge was authorized however the service was not rendered. This studio will steal your money and only respond to disputes to reclaim what they stole. This is so unfortunate, I will also file a complaint with square as well. Bad business, next thing will be taking a trip to FL about my funds.

Don’t waste your time. I completed my yoga teacher training in 2022. I reached multiple times to confirm if the Black Prana Yoga program is a part of Yoga Alliance. They never responded. In fact, they blocked my email. I was polite and courtesy in my email and VERY patient seeing that a year later I am still asking the SAME question. Though being registered with YA is not required to be a yoga instructor, be transparent and responsive with students if the program is not registered. Don’t ignore and block students just for asking. The training itself was subpar. No support, no weekly classes, no check-in from the director. Nothing. You were given a packet and prerecorded videos. There are better and affordable and REGISTERED yoga teacher trainings. I would look else where.

Yoga Alliance has CONFIRMED that the 300HR YTT Course this yoga studio is promoting is (NOT VAILDED/ REGISTERED THOUGH YOGA ALLIANCE) Ashley has scammed thousands of woman MANY BEING WOMAN OF COLOR. Don't become a victim, do your own research. I am currently seeking legal help to try and correct this disappointing act and make sure this studio is held accountable for their actions. File a complaint with Yoga Alliance if you were a recent victim. This is not a valid company or services.

Ashley approaches yoga from a deeply sincere, committed and communal standpoint. I have been her student since the pandemic and have taken several of her offerings. She has something for everyone, but as a Black woman I appreciate her Black woman centric, unapologetic, empowering approach.

Recommend doing research before signing up & paying for anything. Paid for 1 year magazine subscription and only recieved 2 issues. Recieved 200YT cert & completed 300YT but company never completed Yoga Alliance certification and so all students never recieved a document nor explanation. Several people have been contacting them for 2 years! They closed all the FB groups and moved to Mighty Network platform where people have to pay a mo subscription to be part of a community. Company is not honest.

SCAM! I completed the Kid's Yoga course and was never sent my certificate. Now they're advertising this course again in a recent email. How can you advertise a course that you arent approved to teach? DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM! Save your money! I also pre-paid for 300 Hour Yoga in 2021, went to access my account for the course and was locked out and prompted to pay again. After multiple emails, complaints, and requests, they have never once responded to me or resolved any problems. I filed claims with the BBB which they also have not resolved. Take your money elsewhere. It's such a shame that a yoga instructor "determined to make yoga more accessible" would take advantage of so many people in this way. They deleted their public Facebook group, to swap it for a paid platform. This was the main avenue of communication that students had with Ashley, the instructor and owner. Because of the lack of customer service, she is essentially stating that you have to PAY to communicate with her. 0/10.

SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY! I paid in advance and ordered their yoga and meditation coloring book BUT, THEY NEVER SENT ME THE PRODUCTS. I’ve emailed and sent several messages asking for a refund of my money or for the products I ordered BUT, NO REPLY! Months ago the owner said they were waiting on the product to be printed and I should receive it in a week. NEVER RECEIVED! This company does not list a phone number so it’s challenging to get in touch with anyone who cares. THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD & PREYING ON UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS. I WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED. Someone needs to investigate this company for fraudulent business practices.

Unfortunately our Sister scammed us, it is not known by Yoga Alliance and I have been looking everywhere for her number because they don't recognize her school in the studios. Ashley why?
