The last 2 repairs In have had on my Chevy trax still with the same issue. No resulution and we cannot see your car for a week. I can assure you we will not purchase our next vehicle from Ferman. Side not we have only used their service department. Needless to say very disapointed.
So Update after 500$ gasket cover repair and no help with alternate vehicle my car is dead again 4 weeks later explain how mechanics miss bad serpintine belt. But provide "Multi point inspection" Called to seek some assistance I was told sorry everyone went home call again monday and literally herard them laughing as they hung up. To be honest nothing that has been done to show that they care about customers.

Bought a truck with 51,000 miles that had a lift kit and was sold a warranty that was void because the finance manager neglected to include the lift kit in the warranty. This voided a warranty repair of $7,500 for a transmission failure at 63,000 miles. Never again!!!!!!!!!

Your associates like Neil & Tony have ways been so knowledgeable, helpful, & accommodating. I prefer your Tarpon location & happily drive the 50 minutes from Spring Hill because I can always rely on such top notch service there. This is not to imply that your other locations are not good, it's just that your Tarpon location earns my trust over & over again! So, this is where I will always come to for my vehicle's service & needs.

Review from a Current Employee Perspective:
My name is Anibal Vargas, and I work in the Sales department at Ferman Chevrolet. With over a decade of experience across various dealerships, I can confidently say that Ferman Chevrolet treats you like family. Unlike some places, we don’t pressure you into buying unnecessary packages when purchasing your new or pre-owned vehicle. Our Service department is always ready to assist when you need it most. If you’re in the market for a car, make sure to check us out before making your final decision.
P.S. – Don’t forget to ask for Vargas in Sales! ?

Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating, I got exactly what I wanted at a good price and I couldn’t be happier with my new truck! Lou in sales is wonderful, Bogi in finance is so helpful, even the service managers Dave and Neil are great! I can’t imagine buying from anyone else - I shopped around and didn’t get the same experience anywhere else. Thank you all so much!

The information that I went over with the service tech multiple times was not written down correctly and/or passed along to the workers of the service department. I scheduled and appointment 10 days in advance before dropping off. I dropped my vehicle off on a Tuesday morning @ 9am. I received one courtesy call Tuesday afternoon saying that they were still working on things. I called and left a messages/contact info with other Tech's in the service department asking for updates on Thursday, Friday, Saturday in which I got the same replay " I will relay this info to Neil, and he will return your phone call with an update. No update was ever received. I called on Monday in which I finally got through to Neil after 5 or 6 phone calls. When I spoke with him, I still did not have an update on what was going on with my vehicle other than that something that was happening with it was as he worded an "anomaly" and has not been seen before. Still have no idea what that is...??? This phone call took place right before 4pm in which I stated that I needed a rental car since it had been almost a week, and this was never offered in the first place. His response was " I will send in a PO tomorrow at 9am. I called the very next morning to follow up on getting a rental car which took me 3 or more calls to actually speak to someone in the service department only to learn that he was not actually in the office due to a scheduled doctor's appointment and was not expected to be in until noon. I called around noon to follow up in which I was also informed that now he would not be in for the entire day. I spoke with Bill/Billy after explaining my frustration in which he said he would handle it. When we initially spoke about the issues, he pulled my file and did not have any information to relay to me about my vehicle or the findings on what was wrong with it. When he called me back at 4pm he told me that the vehicle was done and ready for pickup. At this time, we reviewed my file in which the information that I provided to Neil when dropped off was not documented correctly and never addressed. Long story short, two items were dealt with out of three. The main issue was transmission issues I was having with the truck and it not shifting properly. It has been two days now and it honestly seems to be worse than before after "updating the software" and test driving it. This tells me a couple things, 1) My truck sat in your lot for over a week and was out on the back burner. 2) Every time I called the reason why no one ever got back to me with an update is because there wasn't one since it was still sitting in the lot. 3) The vehicle was rushed into the service line and "software updated" which means you basically hit the reset button on the computer and hoped the software update would work out the kinks. This tells me they did this as a quick and easy fix so the dealership could get me my vehicle back without making a stink of things and they could also charge GM for warranty work. The software update to say the least did not work. It is currently worse now than before, which frightens me because I am going to have to bring it back only to deal with this awful situation /customer service again. I am sorry, but a courtesy carwash does not solve issues for poor customer service, along with Bill/Billy asking me to give them a good review for him trying to save face on this issue. To say the least my experience was extremely distasteful and beyond disappointing. PART 2: Paperwork states “guest states that when slowing down the transmission is slamming into gear on downshift also when accelerating the transmission seems to slip and has delayed shift”. Ferman Chevys paperwork states” no inspection needed”. The problems with the transmission are worse now than they were before. I also found out when I got my oil changed that my transmission fluid should have been changed at 45,000 per Chevy requirements which was not done, or ever touched. Not sure how a vehicle can be serviced for transmission issu

I called because the airbag warning in my daughters suburban came on. I was told there was a recall and they would order the part. My appointment was yesterday, I dropped it off, and the repair was done. When we got back in it, the check airbag warning light was still on. I went back in to ask about it and the service advisor, rather curtly replied, "was it on before?" Yes, that's why we brought it in. "Well, since it was a recall, we only do what is being paid for, so it might be a sensor or something else." I said, so while the mechanic was in there specifically working on the airbag system, it never occurred to them to see why that warning light might be on? He replied, "nope. Unless we are being paid to look at it, we don't do anything above and beyond the warranty repair."
Needless to say, neither that car nor anyone I know will never be back to this dealership for anything. I now have to take it somewhere else to have a reputable mechanic tell me what is actually wrong, because, I am not sure if anyone is aware of this or not, but having an airbag warning light on all the time is a little disconcerting. Especially for a teenage driver. Rather than being proactive and saying, hey, in addition to the recall part, we see the sensor has gone bad and it will be $xx to go ahead and replace while we are in there. That would have built rapport, and caused me to be more likely to use this dealership for anything in the future. Lesson learned.

Ferman Chevrolet Tarpon Springs is the worst dealership I have dealt with in 60 years!! From the general manager to the service tech they all were unprofessional, lack communication skills not to say in skilled in fixing corvettes. Please do not use this dealership unless you like being treated as a criminal called a liar and destroy your car worst than when you brought it in !!
