These guys are the slowest humans on the planet … the parts department like to play the “that’s not my job right in front of all the customers who are waiting for their parts to be ordered correctly. When there 3 times for the same order, about 3k in parts ended up going to another dealer. They won’t be around long

What an absolute horrid customer service experience. I'm from the Atlanta, Ga area and have been to my share of Chevy dealers. This was by far the worst I've ever been treated in my life. I have a 2017 Chevy Impala currently has 58k miles and my air conditioner's evaporator core is defective. There's a bulletin on this replacement that orders customers to take affected vehicles to dealers for a replacement free of charge. Spoke to Steve on the phone explaining the issue. He stated I needed a bumper-to-bumper warranty in order to be covered but suggested I bring paperwork of bulletin up to service for them to verify it's "legit" as he hasn't had this issue with Impalas. I explained I didn't have time to waste and wasn't internet in making blank trips but would bring the letter i was provided by a repair shop up to Chevy for them to "verify". I arrived at the service department and spoke to Rob who told me there was nothing they were gonna do for me and stated "GM isn't going to help you." He stated my vehicle was excluded from the bulletin since the covered repair wasn't linked to my VIN. He said "You have that paper, and I have this paper" insinuating it was a tit-for-tat battle that he was going to win which meant he wasn't going to help me or make sure my issue was taken care of. I asked for GM's cooperate office number and he told me to Google it. Thank you GM for the worst customer service in the business. I cannot wait to contact someone at the cooperate office! DO NOT BUY OR DO BUSINESS HERE. Take your time, money, and prized possessions elsewhere!

Rob M, in service is the very best. He has taken care of my 2018 Chevy truck, from the firs day I bought from Ferman Chevrolet. he cares and listens to the customer and will do the very best to make sure your vehicle is done right. Now, that my truck is out of factory warranty, I will continue to bring my truck there for service.

I bought a pre-owned there 3 years ago. I received a post card about their service promotion last Christmas. On it was my first name, 'a middle name', and my last name. I wrote 'a middle name" because it was NOT my middle name. They created a middle name for me, a derogatory one, which reflected a common Chinese expression, "aiya". I've posted this review on Google, but they did not offer an apology. Today, the leak in the roof reminded me of this anger. In addition, they fixed this problem a year ago, saying "drain hose came off" on the invoice. I failed to understand why it happened again. Poor workmanship? Never will I ever bring my car back to this unprofessional and discriminatory auto group.

Went in with a draft today from the bank, made the salesman aware that I had negative equity with my current vehicle. With the taxes, fees and negative equity it put me over my loan amount by $2000. Unwilling to work with me although I was trading in one of their own vehicles in pristine condition with a flawless service record. Also unwilling to find any discounts for a veteran. Wasted my time, energy and gas. Don’t let them waste yours.

Covid has turned the world upside down. But it wasn't until I started shopping for a new car that I fully understood the complexities of change that have taken place in the automotive industry. As I begin calling around for a new vehicle, I was repeatedly told by dealers across the state that cars were selling $10,000-$15,000 over MSRP. And I had a big problem with this as it seemed very much like price gouging to me. When I walked into Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon, I was immediately told that they were selling their cars at MSRP. I was extremely skeptical. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop such as being forced to purchase five to $10,000 worth of additional accessories for my car from the dealership. My salesman VARGAS kept reassuring me that the price on the paper was what I would pay. Even on the day I went to pick up my car, I was waiting for the other side of the story. When I was finished signing the papers VARGAS smiled at me And said simply... "See? I told you you could trust me". So, has Covid changed the world? In most ways you bet... it definitely has. But it has also clarified how valuable things like honor, integrity, honesty, and a willingness to go above and beyond for the customer really are. I know that Covid will one day not be a central part of our lives anymore. But I also know that Furman Chevrolet of Tampa will always be our family's go to place to purchase a new Chevrolet

I am a 64 year old female veteran my vehicle has been at Ferman for 3 months I ordered my own part on eBay delivered it and have to keep calling to get any info. 2 months later I have a third party purchase another part and still no fix supposedly General Motors was contacted and they couldn't help I trusted this place but I learned they don't answer calls 6 times I've called for the general manager of service and reached him once. They take messages but don't deliver they don't clear their voicemail so I have to call different numbers. Shannon, Tom, Bill M. Customer service skills are horrible. Try taking care of your 91 year old mother with spinal fractures and explain you can't help her because you have no vehicle. I will not go away quietly. My phone records speak volumes!

Sales will promise anything and everything to get the sale. Once you've purchased the vehicle, you're given empty promises. Rather than fix issues, they'll try to sell you another vehicle. I've purchased multiple vehicles here and will not be back.

Everyone I met there was awesome! Tracy sold me my car. Chance made sure I could buy it and Richard got the paperwork and all 3 got it done! Amazing friendly, and inviting. All the other dealerships and dealers were rude and just not personable. Highly recommend!

The Ferman chain of dealerships are crooks. If I could leave no stars I would, this is the 2nd time I have had a super negative experience with a Ferman dealership. The service department is a joke. They are crooks. If you value your money don't buy their by warranty, they won't do the work to prove it is a warranty problem, and charge you 50% more than what a fair standard rate it to do the work. Take you vehicle somewhere that values you as a customer.

My salesperson was great. Upon saying yes to a car, it took hours of waiting to finalize the deal. Loan was financed by GM but neither GMl or Furman would offer any type of warranty even though the car was a Chevy in seemingly great condition under 40k miles. Oops. I feel like an idiot. Major mechanical probs just hit costing me a grand. Would not repeat. Florida is know for it's citrus and these guys are selling lemons. P.S. Their star rating is higher on Google because they use a company I know to help generate higher ratings... Gaming the system.
