Horrible apartment staff. My wife and I lived here for 14 months. During our time there the pool was open maybe 3 months out of the 14 total. The front gate was broken almost the entire time. The office staff was very rude immediately after you sign the lease. The maintenance team is horrible and we lived there for 14 months with half of our apartment having no AC. I don't get off work until after 5 and the office hours are until 6 PM. The staff at the office were gone each and every time I showed up after 5 PM. There are plenty of better options in the area. Stay away from this place if you enjoy livable conditions, working amenities, and nice people.

Find another place to live. There are plenty of other apartment complexes that will treat you better.
Update - 2025
They notified me that they were raising my rent $500 month when my lease expired. Even the ladies in the office didn’t believe me at first and Then blamed corporate for not wanting to negotiate anything.
Save your money and find a place that isn’t gonna treat their good tenants like trash.
I’ll be happy to take this review down if “corporate” reaches out to me and explains to me why they are raising my rent $500.

I highly recommend this apartment complex! I've lived here for 2.5 years, and during that time, I’ve always been impressed with how quickly they respond to maintenance requests—never taking more than 24 hours, regardless of the issue’s urgency. I’ve heard from friends who struggle to get maintenance issues resolved, but that’s never been the case for me. As a single mom, it’s such a relief to know I don’t have to worry about things breaking around the home. The peace of mind that comes with knowing maintenance will be handled promptly is truly invaluable.

Amarelys's service is excellent, she helped us with the entire application and explained everything very well. A very good service and good human quality. The office is very clean and everyone is very attentive.

I’ve been living at this apartment complex for the past 3 yrs. and I am very disappointed with the lack of responsiveness from Westwood Reserve management in addressing a leak issue caused by Hurricane Milton. We first notified management about the leak on October 9, and when nothing happened, we reached out again on October 14. Despite multiple follow-ups, they’ve continually given us the runaround each time I inquire about the status.
Now, the issue has worsened, with mold beginning to develop due to the prolonged exposure to moisture, raising serious health concerns. I expected more urgency and transparency in addressing this problem, especially when it’s affecting our quality of life and safety.
I hope management can prioritize resolving this as soon as possible, as it’s unacceptable to wait this long for a basic repair.
I regret renewing my lease. If this doesn’t get resolved, I will definitely consider legal actions. This is unacceptable.

I am highly disappointed in this apartment complex. I absolutely REGRET that I just signed a whole new lease for another year at this apartment complex because they don't have any consideration at all. All they care about is getting their money. We literally just had a huge major hurricane (Milton) come blowing Through Florida this past Wednesday 10/09 which I was supposed to move into my new apartment, but of course, due to the hurricane it was pushed back to Friday 10/11. When Friday came I was ready to move and this apartment complex moved my date again even further back to 10/18 and then have the nerve to continue to charge us because THEY are forcing us to stay in an apartment that we have BEEN ready to move out of. I think that is completely inconsiderate and completely unfair. I will definitely be touching base with some lawyers to see if there's anything that can be done About this because this is absolutely ridiculous!! I do not recommend this place AT ALL because if you're having any hardships or having any type of emergency, they are not going to help you in anyway!!! They have made this experience a complete nightmare with everything that we had to go through moving things around because THEY kept moving our dates. And they wanna sit there and say that the natural hurricane was out of their control well it is out of our control that we have to stay at an apartment that we don't want to stay in so you can go somewhere with all those charges.
Completely disappointed In humanity at this place!!

Very disappointed from managers of this appointment complex! I lost power and Wi-Fi during hurricane Milton and my friend offered a place in the leasing office of these apartments to be able to work on my laptop and do not lose my job, at the same time I could charge my batteries etc. But apartment management didn't allow me work here, saying that my friend have to be with me all this period of time I'll be working there, but my friend has babies, her own work, she just can't stay with me all working day. This is very rude and disrespectful of them in such a difficult time. So make your own conclusions guys when you decide to live here, would you like to deal with such insensitive people!

They allow the road in front to fall into complete disrepair and put person and property at risk. If you try to talk to them calmly you get screamed at. Has happened to multiple people. Do not give them your business!

I don't live here but I'm a professional cleaner and I was horrified to find that there were German roaches living in the dishwasher, under the carpets, in the fridge, in the kitchen sink, pretty much every nook and cranny, and my client is a clean person. There was roach poop and eggs everywhere. 😳

I lived there for more than 5 years, and I want to give a fair review. The place when I arrived was decent, price wise and service, however, throughout the years the price went up the service went down.
The main issue that you pay a rent above the average in Tampa and the apartment quality and service is much below the average.
In the first two years, we had an issue with water leaking from the floor and the management took them more than two years to solve it and still we got leaking even afterward (I have the picture for before and after). I even had water leak just few weeks before leaving. We also, had leaking from the second and third floor and again few months until they figure out the issue and fix it. Most of the time, they try to patch things up instead of calling a contractor and solve the problem once and for all.
The quality of the apartment and appliances were very old. The walls were thin, and most of the time, I can hear my neighbor either talking or even walking on the floor. It was very annoying.
The house club was not accessible for almost more than two years. The pool was closed most of the time and the Gym equipment were old and missing pieces or even need cleaning. Just look at the fan in the ceiling and you will know what I mean.
The current management and maintenance are good, however they understaffed. Which bring to the same question that why charging that much if you are always understaffed and can't give a good quality to your residents?
If this is the only choice, then try to take the renovated apartment on the 2nd floor. Do not rent 1st or 3rd floor!

Moved in two months ago, and I am very pleased with the location, apartment, and staff. The apartment is quite spacious and comfortable. The property is well maintained and peaceful. The staff, maintenance and office, are all very pleasant and helpful. And, thanks to Natea, the process of getting the apartment and moving in couldn't have been made easier. She is a true gem! Very happy with our new home.

I visited Westwood and spoke to Claudia and Amarellys (spelling). They were both very helpful in explaining the prices and availability. Unfortunately, I have to push out my move for 6 months, but I surely will come back and visit this property. Beautiful clubhouse as well.
