This is the worst run pharmacy in the area. From communication to operations, the team needs an overhaul. I recommend going someplace else.

I was here waiting in line while personal conversations were happening between staff and customers and I’m not rude so I did not want to interrupt as I still waited at the counter instead of waiting on me the staff decided to take a car before I was even asked did I need help even though I was standing at the counter needing help I’m not sure that I want to continue picking up meds from this location any more I have had to deal with waiting like this many times in the past I was starting to believe that I was invisible when I come here to pick up meds

Rating solely for the pharmacy. They are pretty rude and unprofessional. Prescriptions are never ready when promised

The pharmacy isn’t good. We get calls saying our prescription is ready for pickup, when we get there they say it’s not read come back tomorrow ?, why call then. We are fed up with them. We are moving to CVS

Review of Walgreens at 17511 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, Florida:
My experience at this Walgreens location was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. I arrived promptly for my scheduled COVID testing appointment, only to be informed by pharmacy staff that the testing was administered by the Advent Health clinic. Fair enough, except the clinic person was inexplicably absent until nearly half an hour past my appointment time.
When the clinic representative finally arrived, I was informed that it was actually the responsibility of the Walgreens pharmacy staff to conduct the test. Confused but hopeful, I made my way to the pharmacy counter, only to be told by the pharmacist and her assistant that they had been out of test kits for several weeks. This crucial piece of information, mind you, came from the very individuals who should have been equipped to administer the test.
Attempting to salvage the situation, I inquired about another nearby Walgreens location, only to be met with pessimism from the pharmacist who suggested that the entire Tampa area was out of stock. However, a quick call to another Walgreens just minutes away proved otherwise – they did indeed have the test kits available.
This ordeal was not only a colossal inconvenience but also a prime example of misinformation and miscommunication within the staff. It's clear that corporate oversight is sorely needed to address such issues and prevent customers from wasting their time and energy.

Not sure why it takes 30 minutes to pick up a prescription in the drive thru. If you have a customer who needs extended assistance, tell them to come inside. Or take a practice from dry cleaning or fast food and have them park. Get them out of the line so others picking up their prescription can get it done quickly.

We unfortunately were forced to use Walgreens due to our insurance. We called to switch the prescription from CVS and gave all the pertinent information, including the insurance to Walgreens. Days went by and they never called to say the prescription was ready. I called 3xs to ask what was going on and each time was placed on hold for over 25 minutes and they never answered the phone. Every time they would pick up the phone, not say anything and throw you back on hold. So I was forced to make a trip in to see what had happened. When I went in I explained to Sarah behind the counter the situation, upon checking she said oh yeah I remember you, you gave me the wrong insurance info. I said why didn't you call to let me know there was a problem? She said oh that's just a courtesy we don't have to call you. She aggressively and rudely took the insurance card and told me wait 10 minutes. I will be filing a complaint with corporate as well as my insurance company. Not to mention they were $10 more to fill my script though them.

By far the WORST pharmacy on the planet. The pharmacist admitted that neither she nor her team regularly checks the voicemail for providers to call in prescriptions. So if your provider called something in there is a 99% chance they did t fill it. They take days to fill prescriptions that are literally 30 count bottles that only need a label applied. Florida blue forces me to use Walgreens otherwise I guarantee I would be at literally any other pharmacy in the world from this garbage one. Pure garbage.

This store is supposed to be open until 12 am but came at 11:45 and the door was closed and the employee was sitting on the register counter on his phone
