Been trying for 2 weeks to get my forwarding mail order to START forwarding my mail from previous address, "2" weeks. I completed their new ID "Validation" process "3" times:: twice on line and once by two-trying-to-help postal employees, one who submitted my forwarding order request MANUALLY! God, what more do they want?? I'd like to see whoever received the 3 requests to go even 3 days w/o mail! I was told some incompetent posted my forwarding order for effective February 4 instead of January 15. And once this forw. order is requested, it takes "another" ....wait for it...."20" days to get any mail! They continue to raise postal rates, sometimes twice in one year; and, yet, the service sucks and is only getting worse! Is there ANY "caring" postal employee out there who can help? Tk you!Margaret C. 2-20-2024, 5:43 pm3-6-2024:: NO forwarded mail since 3 pcs received on January 9, "January"!! I get some pcs addressed to me at my NEW address; but, nothing forwarded from previous address! 3-4 times a week I used to get real mail! Going to visit the postal office CFS Dept (Computerized Forwarding Service) in Tampa main postal facility and not leave til I get "answers" as to WHERE is my mail, still laying around in one of their "hold" bins still waiting for my ID Verification which I did "3" times already and got confirmation it was received! Again, who of them can go even a couple days w/o mail?? This is ludicrous and a slap in the face to the public who keeps them in business!!I would please appreciate any postal employee in mgmt. who can research the whereabouts of my mail to please contact me....now! Really hard to communicate with the Post Office. Phone does not work, and hours of operation are inaccurate.

I came here at 11:00 am Thursday last week and I was locked out of the post office. I returned 0806 (Tuesday) the following week not open either… They have posted hours on the door but never seem to be open when they’re supposed to be. There have even been people inside during duty hours with doors locked and just ignore customers at the door.

The gentleman who helped me yesterday was "just there". I spent my entire adult life in retail, and a smile and friendly attitude goes a long way.This person should not be dealing with the general public.You may think that he may have been having a bad day, but he was perfectly nice to his colleague.

Clerk Jill always goes above and beyond, she knowledgeable and courteous. I visited this office because my local office at 13266 Byrd Dr STE 100, Odessa, FL 33556-5309 was not able to help with the return receipt that USPS never delivered for the very important mail and even their supervisor was telling me that "he can only access records within his zip code", However, Jill (she was not even a supervisor) printed out electronic return receipt for my delivered certified letter and provided detailed contact information for the office in NY. Thus, I did not need to file any claims and had a delivery proof on hands within 5 minutes of visiting this office. Thank you so much, Jill! I hope you will be promoted to a supervisor.

Constantly (years now...) puts mail and packages in the wrong boxes. Forced to camp out the mail boxes for hours waiting on the mail guy to show up to open the other boxes to find your package. Worst service I've ever seen from the USPS.

This post office is inside the MacDill Air Force base. Not accessible to non military folks. Please do not let Google take you here. The folks at the entrance to MacDill were kind enough to turn me around and point me elsewhere.

I'm born in Tampa, so my review is a little biased. That being said; working on macdill AFB is great. The food court and the convenient store are tax free, except smokes and booze. The base has great views of Tampa bay and Downtown with plenty of walking paths and benches to sit and take in Tampa. They have a Burger King and a golf course and everyone on base has been vetted at the front gate. You're only allowed on base if you're Active or Retired military or your company has a contract on base. Do yourself a favor( if you can get on base) and come see Centcom, the building is huge and well built. America!!!
