Emily was able to schedule Alexandria to paint the file cabinet within a few weeks. Alexandria is very sweet, professional, meticulous and did an amazing job! See pictures. I decided on the color catalina and asked for a distressed finish, which did not cost extra. Highly recommend!”

“I've been going to GK fashions for the last 7 years and they have never let me down. As soon as you come in the store someone approaches you to give you assistance. If you go in any other clothing store you can walk around for 25 minutes before you can even find help, but not here. And whoever it is that greets you at the door, they stick with you until the sale is finished. For me it's usually Peter, or Ray who are the salesman who helped me. Both of them are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Even the owner is amazing. She's very businesslike so you may not see her smiling, but she gives excellent service, and suggestions on what clothing style will fit you and look the best. I can't recommend GK high enough, they're awesome.”

“I was over the moon in love with the brand new shop, Rehab which just opened off Kennedy, also the sister store to the one off Bay to Bay! I just needed a jacket or something to add with my pink cowboy boots. I searched and searched to find amazing things I wanted, but didn’t match my boots. As I am walking out, Amber the owner, stopped and asked me to wait because she knows of something perfect…OH MY GOSH!! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT FUR JACKET!! “I have an ongoing love affair with thrift and consignment stores. Most of them are wild jumbles of random stuff. I thrive in their chaos! But in my favorite thrift stores the clothing and other merchandise are selected (consciously or not) to reflect the style, values and/or tastes of the proprietors. Those stores have a unique character. The SWS Closet, which specializes in clothing, is one of those magical places. It's curators obviously have good taste and an eye for style. The clothing is in very good condition and is sold at reasonable prices. The service when I was there was excellent. (Thanks Marisol!) At a time when "sticks and bricks" retail stores operated by real people who care about their customers are increasingly giving way to internet sales, it's a treat to find a gem like The SWS Closet!”

“Wherein Goodwill and Lighthouse have inflated their prices... The Sally has kept everything affordable... they know their clientele and the pricing feels respectful. I love how everything is color coordinated. Want a plus size white shirt? They have them hung all in a neat row. Want a purple plate? Guess what? The plates are organized by color. The staff is friendly and I appreciate that they hire graduates from the ARC. The Sally is a sentinel, handing out second, third and fourth chances. As a customer, I'm on my umpteenth chance in life and the TSA is still there for me and my family. Thank you. And to God be the glory.”

They limit the number of items to 20 clothing and have alot of people trying to sell them items so sometimes they can't take everything you bring in, but the store is super clean and organized with TONS of options for everyone. The staff is super friendly now that the new manager is there and overall its my favorite place to treasure hunt. Tip, thousands of items are discounted using their color tag system so deal seekers check out their tag color signage!!”

“As a "shopper"....it is mostly a positive experience. I've bought leather coats for $20....and expensive sneakers for $10. The Wednesday 50% off clothing sale is a gas---except for all the people that have friends holding their place in line----and the numerous people who buy exclusively to resell at a profit. (I've seen several"regulars" throw 50+ pairs of sneakers in their buggy.....then wait til later to actually sort through the ones they are posting on internet.) Me, personally, when I donate I prefer my goods actually go to people in need!....Not to line the pockets of internet vultures! So I give elsewhere---where the needing people get the goods I give. THat being said....I "assume" all the monies raised from these sales at the local SA stores all goes to very deserving programs. (Hence the high 4 star rating.) And every now and then I stumble onto a very unique item that I "just can't live without!" These items usually get redonated after reality sets in---but it's cheaper than gambling and it does raise funds for important social programs. So....."shop on!"”

“I can say that the Tampa thrift shops are about to go e their run for their money to some shops that are not currently their competitors, but i will be willing to bet that soon we will be hearing about.This store is spotless, the shelves well stock with not only second hand items but brand new ones, on many areas such as Home goods, pets and electrical brand new ones but bedding such as blankets pillows, mattresses. You will also find new furniture as well as 2nd hand items.They now have an are for people to complete their applications for work, the staff are friendly and courteous.Bathrooms are really clean, they assigned a person to do cleaning that continue to to clean the restore.Their parki is sufficient for their traffic and it has handicap parking which is complemented by the front door access which allowed wheelchair access.They even have couple of vending snack and drinks machines.Overall, it is moving on the right direction so fast that the prices for some 2nd hand it's and clothing have gone up.judge for yourself after looking at the picks i will be providing, and levee a comment, letting me know your thoughts ??”
