Is it extra for me to write a review months after a bad experience? Maybe. Have I mentally recovered from how Wayne butchered my bangs, (which happened to be a week before an important work trip I had been stressed about for months)? No.
I have had bangs for most of my life and this was by FAR the worst trim I have ever had. If you’re wondering how I recall anything from an appointment from January; the entirety of the appointment ran through my mind over and over again for days- it is my fault? Should I have said something?
I was not asked any questions regarding the cut before or during the trimming, and I am relatively blind without my glasses so I could not see anything until after he was finished. I legitimately thought that I was delusional when I stood up and looked in the mirror… no amount of brushing my hands through my bangs made it look better but I was rushed out because it was the end of his shift. What was I going to do, ask him to try again? Luckily, I was able to find a stylist that could attempt to fix how uneven they were but it had to result in a $40 appointment and micro bangs. They are cute on some people but I had to spend DAYS with my bosses and coworkers looking like Lord Farquaad. Giving two stars instead of one because the other stylists I worked with were ok and the staff is friendly.

I honestly should give zero stars as I am a 45 year old woman from out of state and I've never been treated so poorly within five minutes of walking into a business. I went today and the lady at the front entrance was very nice and very pretty and she told me if I need help to ask her, so I went about my business and went toward the Bare Minerals products which she pointed me to, and I also complemented her on her eyes as she did mine as well. I walked over to the bare mineral area and she told me if I needed help with anything to let her know so as I browsed another woman came up to me and asked me if I needed any help so I explained that I was looking for Bare Minerals- Warmth and I was looking for a powder foundation because of the heat my skin looks very greasy lately. Not to be mean, but this females make-up looked absolutely horrible and right away it was very off putting. I honestly couldn't take advice from somebody with such a bad make up job but I asked her where the powder puffs were as well so she showed me where they were and I grabbed about $30 worth of puffs. The strange thing was after I told her I was looking for a powder foundation, she started recommending a moisturizer with SPF (not sure why she recommended moisturizer or SPF or why she mentioned a primer). I told her I don't use SPF and I wasn't looking for moisturizer and I was a little confused as to why she even mentioned that. Well, I couldn't take any make-up advice from her and she did try to help me with a color match, but again I couldn't take advice from her because her make up job was so poor, so I continued to do my own color match testing with samples and she went about her business. She was very nice and helpful, but not helpful with what exactly I was looking for and again I couldn't take advice from somebody with such a bad make-up job so I continued to shop. So as I went to the mirror to try different color matches to my skin another lady asked me "do you need help", now this is the third person so I replied "no". I continue to look for color matches in the mirror on my own and then a fourth person came up to me and said "do you need help" while I'm trying to decide which Bare Minerals color option to pick. This is all within, probably 5 to 10 minutes of entering the store. So in my head, I think it's because I'm biracial that they probably either think I'm there to steal or they're really cut throat for commission and I'm not sure if both may be true, However. I told that associate "if one more person asks me if I need help I'm walking out of the store" and this happened while I have about $60-$70 worth of product in my hands to buy. This female employee with dark brown/black shoulder length hair who is rather slender says to me sarcastically "do you need help with anything?". I was simply perplexed at how inconsiderate she was as to my request to essentially leave me alone and let me shop. So I put all my products down as another employee stood right there as well and I walked out the store and as I'm walking out the store I realize a manager needs to know about what transpired so I go back to talk to the manager, and all she says is something along the lines of she'll speak to them but offered no apology or even asked me to point out what employee it was. She didn't say anything like " this is not the type of customer experience that Ulta wants to encourage". At the end of the day, I absolutely blame the manager for such a poor experience and honestly, I would've been spending close to $500 if they had left me alone after especially the 3rd person bothered me. I am still amazed that this employee looked me dead in my eyes and literally sarcastically said to me "is there anything else I can help you with
" after I just told her to basically leave me alone and let me shop. So now I'll be going to Sephora for all my products, This experience just made me even

I’ve been to many Ultas in the past for my hair services so I usually know what to expect and have had great experiences with the hair stylist. But not here! or at least not with Andrea. She did a horrible job, and didn’t acknowledge or speak to me the entire time she was doing my hair. When she was done, she literally walked away and didn’t even bother to show me the back of my hair. I wouldn’t recommend coming here at all if they are hiring people with such poor customer service.

I don’t normally write reviews but I really wanted express my appreciation for Rebekah. I have been looking for a good stylist for literally years. She is amazing with both cut and color. In my opinion she is an artist. She goes above and beyond. She just isn’t trying to get you in and out of her chair. She takes her time with you to make sure that everything is perfect. Rebekah is a 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent stylist!!

I walked in 4 mins after brow appointment scheduled after sitting in 30 mins of traffic and my purse dumping in the parking lot. As the rude lady sat in her spiny chair and playing on her tablet, not looking at me to give me the time of day, she told me she didn’t have another availability til an hour later. Will not be coming back to the Benefit Brow Services here, contemplating cancelling the hair appointments I made for my daughters as well. Very rude and inconsiderate.
