This place has gone completely downhill. I'm a long-time patient, almost 10 years. Made an appointment for simple blood draw and was there waiting an hour past my appointment. Each time I asked the receptionist for an estimate, I was given a different excuse for the delay and that I would be seen next. After multiple people went ahead of me, I just walked out. The best part is they have a sign on the front desk that says if a patient is 15 minutes late to your appointment, you will be rescheduled. I guess that doesn't cut both ways.
Oh and don't bring your kids. You can hear the office receptionist staff drop f-bombs in the waiting area.

This place is a joke! Why make an appointment if you are unable to accommodate the time. If you can't manage your time, how do you expect people to be confident that you can manage our needed care??!! Zero confidence, how do you expect people to trust you??!!
Find any other place if you actually want to receive care!! They don't do the right thing!!

Dr. Miranda is great but the office staff and billing department are horrible. I received a bill in October and every time I called to find out why I received the bill I am told someone will call me back. Today is December 31st and I'm still waiting. I guess as long as they get their money they don't care about anything else.

Horrible office staff! Dr is great but office staff will just hang up phone and set for after hrs answer service way before 5pm... put in request for appointment on my chart (cause you cant get threw on phone) it took a week for them to get back to me.. cant get appt to get blood work. When reqd paper to go to a Labcorp was told i would have to call my insurance provider to get referral to labcorp and was hung up on. They are rude and there is no patient care. stay away from this office unless you don't want to be treated like a human was literally told we cant help you and then hung up on so now i have doc appointment to go over blood results with no blood taken seems like it's an office mangt problem

Terrible. Have a persistent cough that needs to be addressed. No other symptoms and they refuse to allow an in person visit. Video only. How is someone expected to receive a proper diagnosis over a video call! However, I can just walk on in to their urgent care center no problem. If you're afraid to treat your patients then find a new career.

Dr Kolanko in South Tampa at 2106 Lois avenue is a terrible dr and his staff is just as awful. He made multiple mistakes in treating me, had no sense of urgency for a serious issue I had and refused to help when he wrote the wrong order for an mri. Don't trust his judgment, he is not a good clinician. He seems to not know what he is doing. Front desk staff rude and clueless. The worst is Lindsay and the office manager Courtney. Awful. Run for your life literally.

Completely unprofessional office. I was going to the TGMG office on Carrollwood for over a year, and had no issues there. But then I made two appointments at the Lois office, and both were cancelled or moved locations the same day of the appointment. The first time the roof was the reason. Fine. So I rescheduled. The second time no reason was given, just that the NP decided to work from the Brandon location this week. Ridiculous that this happened twice in two weeks. They seem to care very little about their patients based on the short notice and the fact that I was offered another appointment "next week". I'm in pain and would love some answers about why but it seems impossible to actually see a doctor here. Definitely going to a different doctors office from now on.

Dr. Sandra Ellis at Tampa General Medical Group in Brandon was a horrible physician. She could care less what her patient has to say. She is dismissive. She was discriminatory. Her physical exam was rudimentary at best. She prescribed the wrong diagnostic testing exam for a serious medical problem. She has her own agenda of getting in & out of an exam room fast w/out explaining anything to a patient. She has empathy for her patients. How she has a medical license I do not know.

Recently visited Dr. Kolanko and was very impressed with his expertise and knowledge as well as his patience and kindness. I had gone to specialists and another primary care physician and they were helpful but didn't really understand nor treat my condition effectively. Dr. Kolanko listened very patiently and prescribed a medication for IBS that finally and totally obliterated the pain I had been experiencing for months. The GI specialist I consulted wasn't able to help me after performing many costly tests. Dr. Kolanko quickly got to the problem and helped me. I am so grateful for his expertise and help.I would highly recommend him.

Have waited 2 weeks for this office to sent paper work to my insurance so I can receive mediciation, have called 5 times in the past 2 weeks and still no fax has been sent over. This is the most unprofessional office I’ve ever dealt with. 2 weeks?!?!

My family and I have been coming to Dr. Kolanko for sometime now and are very happy with his care, knowledge, and professionalism. I highly recommend this office. His bedside manner is the best and really listens to you with care.
