Normally use this take 5 and am okay with it taking a little longer because it’s in a crowded part of Tampa. Today I came in, waited just over an hour, sat in the bay with my hood not even opened, just to be told they didn’t have my filter and couldn’t perform the service. They even recommended going to auto zone buying it and coming back but re waiting in an hour+ line. Totally get being out of something (even though I drive a GMC with a very mainstream filter that everyone stocks) but how you let me sit in a bay for over an hour without saying a word is crazy. This location already has taken 30 minutes longer than a normal Take5 on my prior visits but this was the last time I’ll come to this one.

As far as price, they are too expensive & there are other options that are cheaper. Having said that, occasionally they offer certain specials, for which I have taken advantage of. I would not use them without any type of special.
As far as service, the couple of times I've been there, the employees have been great, very professional. It is evident they've gone through some type of training as far as procedures, what to say, when, etc.
If I had to give a minor critique, it'd be that I prefer not be subjected to higher cost options. But it is their job to go through more expensive options, this happens anywhere & I understand that.

I've always gone to Take 5 for my oil changes and never had an issue previously but my most recent experience was terrible! The employees were friendly and nice so that wasn't the problem. The problem was that after my oil change, I noticed my car was lurching dramatically every time I tried to accelerate, almost like I was driving a manual transmission and couldn't switch gears correctly. Luckily I know a mechanic so I had them check it out, and apparently I had SIX quarts of oil in my engine! My car only takes FIVE!! My engine was drowning!! And that could have damaged my engine if that entire extra quart stayed in there any longer!!! Literally the day after getting my oil changed, I had to get all the oil drained to figure out how much extra was in there. So then I had to pay for MORE oil to fill it back up. There goes $100 at Take 5 down the drain, figuratively AND literally. Not worth the money!!! If you go here make sure you tell them exactly how many quarts your engine takes and don't let them charge extra for more oil.

Great job by the team. Very quick and great personal service. The bottle water was nice touch of customer service. 10/10 would go again next oil change. Manager on top of things and ensuring everything was running smooth.

I had an excellent experience here. When I attempted to change my oil, I found that the dealership had stripped the drain plug bolt, but the crew at Take 5 handled that issue quickly and easily. In addition, Noah, Darian, and Adrian provided tips on how to handle such issues in the future. They were friendly, quick, and incredibly helpful. Thanks, guys!

I visited Take 5 Oil Change for a quick oil change. The staff was friendly and efficient, but the service felt rushed, and I would have liked more thorough explanations. The pricing was reasonable, but overall, it was just an okay experience.

Noah and a helper did the oil change, they both offered me water and were very polite. Noah explained everything as the oil change happened. There were no surprises. Noah went above and beyond. I'd add the extra mile as well. Glad I chose to go there, especially with Noah.

Came in for an oil change. After having it done, my car was leaking oil everywhere. I checked the oil after 4 days and it wasn’t registering on the dipstick. Went back to have them look at it and was told they left the old oil filter seal on so it was doubled up. I appreciate the honesty but seriously? There was no oil in the car. I got lucky by coming in when I did. Definitely not coming back here again.
