My recent interactions with Truist Bank left much to be desired. While Elizabeth Kong stood out for her professionalism and courtesy, I regret to say that the same cannot be said for the rest of the staff.

Terrible service from the workshops, they are not friendly and are incapable of such courteous treatment, I do not recommend it, a very bad experience

I already have a personal account with Truist , I came in today to open a business account and they have the lobby closed with a sign at the front door stating the lobby is closed. I pull up through drive thru, 4 people working inside and one on the drive thru window . I explained that I'd like to open a new business account and she said " Yeah that's not gonna happen today " . I'm pulling all my funds out my personal account and opening the two accounts with another bank , what kind of banking is this ??♂️

I guess Truist doesn’t want my voluptuous scrumdiddlyumptious deposit. Not a single working ATM. Thank god there is a chase across the street.Just shut down this branch. It’s always understaffed. If you need help from a human, you need to make an appointment more than a week out as if it were the hottest bank in Tampa. Customer service sucks/ useless branch.

I really needed to open up a new checking & savings account before I left for a 2 week business trip, so I took some time off from my very business schedule to drive the 20 minutes to the nearest Truist bank to me. When I got there I found a completely empty lobby and two works sitting behind the counter both on their computers and neither was helping any one. After being ignored for a little bit I finally interrupted one of the workers from their computer to ask if I can open an account. She cheerfully replied “no, there is no one here who can help you”. I asked why because I took time off work to do this and she cheerfully replied “we are too busy to help you, please come back another time”. I asked one more time for help because I can clearly see that there is no one else here, to which the worker just asked for my ID and personal information, including my social security number. Thinking that she was actually going to help me open an account, I provided her the information that she requested. After I had gave all this personal information to the worker, she then told me that “someone will call me from their corporate office” & to “please leave”, still in her cheerful voice. At this point I did leave the bank as this seemed extremely suspicious/shady that a bank would take such personal information of mine down & then refused to help in trying to open up an account with them. I’m not sure why it appeared that this bank wanted to discriminate against me, but I will be filing a complaint to the state of Florida for this. It truly does not seem ethical for a bank to ask for my ID, take down my social security number & then refuse to help me and ask me to leave with out a reasonable cause.

Banker to busy to take my money. Says I need an appointment yet she wasn’t with a customer. Just overall tone not welcoming and not what it use to be when coming to a bb&t or Suntrust l, Such a shame!!!

Been banking w/ BB&T my whole life. I’ll never go back to this location. The teller was unprofessional and rude. I came to make a cash deposit and wasn’t welcomed, asked “how are you?” and got ignored.I deposited 9.5K bc I’m about to buy my first home. The teller immediately took my money behind the counter without counting, then told me it was only 9K after running it thru money printer. My other bank, Chase, counts it right in front of you. I was sure it was 9500. Went back to recount my money 3 times and realized I was $500 short.Manager claimed to have checked the cameras and said no foul play involved. I would feel more convinced if I also saw the video. After reading the other awful reviews, it doesn’t shock me at all. I didn’t just “misplace” $500. I will be withdrawing my funds from this bank.

Be glad there is no 0 stars…need help with a current auto loan and they wont help you at the branch…be ready to wait 45- to an hour and a half for simple auto loan questions. DO NOT RECOMMEND

This SunTrust bank on 6704 Memorial Highway in Tampa is managed by the rudest, laziest, and meanest people that I have come across in a long time. They refuse to provide documents, they boss you around, and at times refuse to service you. They are masters at obstructionism and passive/aggressive behavior and have totally forgotten that if it wasn't for their customers, they wouldn't have a business. They have mistreated me for the last time and I am taking my business to another bank. If I could give them a zero rating, I would!

Came to cash a check from this bank at 320pm March the second. The lady that cash it had the worst attitude. Nothing like wellsfargo they always receive you w a smile no attitude. But this happens when a Hispanic takes care of another. And I was going to open an account but there's no way. Terrible service just because I told the lady I didn't have an account with them. So pp go somewhere else.

Horrible experience. I asked to withdrawal all my funds and they said no and to go to a different location. I showed proof and such an inconvenience because I had little time to make this trip because of work and now asking me to go to another location which 5miles further away. This is why I switched my bank to chase.
