I tried sending money via Zelle today. "Your Zelle payment is under review" is the message I received. The email also stated if I had questions about the transaction, please call 844-487-8478 24/7 for assistance. 24/7. Of course I got a recording stating to call back during normal business hours because you're closed. Why advertise 24/7 when that isn't true? So that means that hold is there until possibly after 12/25. I'm tired of Truist bs...

I banked with Suntrust since 2000. Never had a problem with them until they merged with BBT forming TRUIST Bank. Customer service became substandard. On August 4, 2023 I had fraudulent deposits made into my accounts. The bank never notified me and locked all my accounts. Leaving me with no access to funds, automatic deposits and caused financial hardship as I was unable to pay bills, buy groceries or put gas in my vehicle. Then they charged me overdraft fees on top of all this causing more financial hardship. After filing complaint and sending in affidavits stating I had no knowledge of the deposits they closed my accounts on August 18th and refused to return any funds that were present before the fraud totaling a little over $3000. I have sent in several emails requesting a status and phone calls made all get the run around with no clear answers to direct question.I recently sent them a letter (see below.) I have not heard back to any of my emails or phone calls. Word on the street is that they have done this to several longstanding customers. CEO William H Rogers JrCFO Scott CaseCIO Scott CaseReg President -Jacksonville Emily DaukinsCentral FL Reg President Steve FisherFraud Department Truist BankRef: C-20230803607To Whom it May Concern; His is in regards to the Fraud Case C-20230803607 and the lack of communication between yourInstitution and myself- a 20+ year customer. I was never contacted in regards to the fraudulent mobile deposits made on my accounts. How I was made aware is when I went into the bank on August 4, 2023 to withdraw funds and was informed by the teller that the account was on hold due to fraudulent activity. I then was ushered to one of the ladies who you sit with when opening an account. A fraud report was filed at that time as when presented with copies of the deposits was presented to me by them. One of the fraulent deposits came from Allstate Financial, who I contacted and spoke to the CFO who's name was on the check and she stated that she had no knowledge of this nor had been contacted by Truist Fraud Department. I received in the mail letters with a list of the four (4) mobile deposits and affidavits for me to sign, have notarized and returned to Truist. I returned the required documents which stated that I had no knowledge of thesedeposits or the origin. I followed up with a phone call to the Fraud Department and was told that it was in processand that it would be ten (10) business days before a resolution would be determined. In the meantime I still no access tomy funds in the account. No money for gas, groceries or basic living necessities. At this point it had been over fourteen (14) days with no access to any monies. On top you started adding overdraft fees to one of the accounts. On August 19, 2023 I received several letters informing me that all my accounts have been closed and that no Funds were being returned to me. A total of monies that were in the accounts totaling a little over $3000.00. Not to mention the automatic payments for auto loans, insurance, savings investments, etc. Also automatic deposits of paychecks. Of course being a large financial institution you have no sympathy on the hardship you have caused or the theft of the monies entrusted to you. How may other long time customers have you treated so carelessly and thrown out like yesterday's trash. Your policies stated that you can close an account at no notice but that doesn't give you the authority to retain the monies in those accounts. I believe that is theft. My attorney has been notified of this injustice.Respectfully,BL Breen

We have been going to the Ybor City branch for about 2 years. After receiving substandard service at a branch closer our business, standing in lines with only one teller or waiting 20-30 minutes at the drive through with no one in front, this branch was and still is a breath of fresh air. Elizabeth and Zoraida usually handle our transactions. They are friendly, professional, they know there business and are very helpful with anything we need. If you are frustrated with the way you are being treated at your branch, come to the Ybor City branch and say hello. You will be glad you did. All of the employees here work hard to make sure your experience is pleasant. Have an amazing day, Blessings to you all, Larry, Square Deal Battery

This is the worst of the worst Suntrust banks you will find in the company. The customer serivce is completely understaffed. They refused to up during and after the covid closures claiming its not safe while all other banks are open. Employees have to sand outside in 90 degree heat to get change or to back banking. The only reason thsi bank is open is because there is a heavy business presence in the area and its convenient or was convenient. 2.3 starts on google is absurd and management should take notice.

Forcing your customers, especially commercial, to stand outside in your drive thru line in the 90° heat and blazing sun is careless and absolutely unprofessional. Do better.
