I am a USF student and Jerry was amazing with helping me out with my car. I ran over metal debris and he took out the debris and topped off my oil as well which he didn't have to do. absolutely would recommend going there with any car trouble. Jerry was a pleasure and was very welcoming and explained everything to me as someone who is not experienced with cars. He also made sure to call my parents as well because there name was under the car as well. would give 10 stars if I could.

Another satisfied USF Student I am not one to typically leave reviews however my experience at South Florida Auto Repair has restored my faith that there are still good, honest people out there willing to provide service with a smile and NO you don't have to spend a lot of money at a dealership! My daughter, a USF freshman, called me freaking out that the car will not start. Not from the area, I googled auto repair near USF and chose South Florida Auto Repair because of its outstanding reviews. I am really glad that I did because I definitely received 5-star customer service from Jerry. He was welcoming, comforting, supportive, and knowledgeable. It's hard to find a good, honest mechanic anymore and I highly recommend this one! AND added bonus, Jerry to is a USF Graduate!! GO BULLS! Trustworthy, fast, and affordable! I am beyond grateful that I found a mechanic that I trust and one that I will return to. Thank you Jerry for a great, not-from-the-area, experience. My daughter will definitely refer all of her friends to you in the future.

Jerry was quick to help us when we hit a piece of debris in the road and had part of our vehicle dragging on the ground. He patched it up and got us on our way. We were especially grateful because we live out of town and had to drive back home the next day. I would definitely recommend this business! Thanks a million, Jerry!

Joe really helped me out I was stuck in the rain with no windshield and he got me one right away I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and spent under 30 bucks. Highly recommend

Jerry did an excellent job! My car is running great. He especially cares about, and I believe even offers discounts for the University students. He answers any questions you may have and is super helpful.

SO RUDE!! I called to see if I could bring my car in for repair and whoever answered the phone must have had a really rotten day. There are a million to places to have your car repaired in Tampa... I will never consider this one.

As a USF student I was nervous to take my car anywhere I hadn't been before but after going to South Florida Repair Shop I would bring my car back every time. The service was fast and the people were nice, I would 100% recommend :)

Jerry runs the place and he is a great guy. Regularly called me and gave me updates on my car. All of his guys are certified and he really knows what he is doing. When I came to pick up my car, he even showed me every single worn out part that he took out of my car and marched it up to my bill. A great honest place, I'll definitely be back the next time my car needs some work.

If your kids car breaks down CALL THIS PLACE!!! This man was so helpful and prompt. We are 500 miles away from our college son so when he called to say his car was overheated we panicked but I immediately got on the INT and found Jerry. The reviews were great and turned out to be truthful. It's hard to trust anyone much less when your'e so far away but Jerry put us at ease and our son stated that Jerry was very very nice and helpful and we are so grateful for the integrity of this man.

My daughter's 2011 Volvo C70 air conditioning was not working. Jerry diagnosed the problem to a relay and a pressure switch. He had it working again for $200. I was expecting it to cost more. I wIll have my daughter take her car to Jerry again if it is in need of repair.

Jerry was awesome. Superman to the Rescue. My car battery died at Wawa a few blocks away bc I saw the closest mechanic shop to Wawa and called there on google website. I got so lucky I called one minute past their closing time 5:31pm and someone still picked up the phone! Since it was closing time, he was sweet like an Old pops and came to Wawa to jump start my battery. It meant a lot because I was pumping gas getting ready to pick my dad up from the Moffit center before the crazy Howard Franklin Bridge back home. I could've been stuck there for hrs until someone I know get into town. Jerry helped replace a new battery. Definitely recommend his service in the Tampa area.

This company is a complete rip off they charge 75.00 for a break down with no fee I took my car in June it's now Nov and he still has yet to give me the fee to complete the services the son was rude to me infront if another client do NOT waste your time

Poor customer service.. i was driving by the area saw a vw I had in high school, when to their web site 2495, I went to look at it ask for the price 3500. Ask him a similar one that he had on the lot.. and he started cursing saying don't go over there this is a mechanic shop.. the other car was 5 feet from the one I went to see.. they are the worst.. don't go there!!!!!
