I joined The SHAC after recovering from an injury weightlifting on my own and have been so grateful for the small class sizes and knowledgeable coaches who help so greatly with correct form! I’m new to CrossFit and even through there’s a lot of new terms to learn I never feel lost as someone is always willing to help and the videos in the app are super informative. The mix of cardio and weight lifting is also perfect for my needs.

There really is no better way to say it...The SHAC (SHCF) is truly just the best. My husband and I have been going to this gym for about 3 months now & it has been a great investment.- The coaches: do a tremendous job in ensuring you are able to get the workout of the day done at your own pace, while being able to progress towards your goal, without hurting yourself. Always first-hand assistance with helping keep correct form & posture throughout the workout.- The community: people that go here are nothing but supportive. It is a true judgement free zone, where negativity is not tolerated.- The kitty-corner: is one of my personal favorites, just some sweet little animal faces to get you through that last rep. Sweet-Pea will always be there to greet you.All in all, if you're looking to invest in your health, happiness & performance, The SHAC is a perfect place to start.

Coach Karen is the best! She is explains things really well and focuses on safety, especially with new members. She’s also hilarious! The other coaches and members are great too. Everyone is very encouraging. Highly recommend!

I am so glad that I finally found a gym like this! Everyone is always super friendly and non-judgey. It gives off a very seminole heights vibe with a bunch of chill, cool members. I love the fact that they have a variety of classes like CrossFit style workouts and HIIT classes. There is definitely something for everyone, no matter what your fitness level is. I love being a member of the SHAC!!

This gym is amazing! The classes are small, individual attention and coaching is provided as needed, it is a very comfortable and welcoming environment for beginners through advanced athletes. I would recommend to anyone!

Love this gym!!! Especially the Body and HITT classes. They make modifications for anyone with restrictions and at any fitness level. Plus, all the coaches and attendees are super welcoming! ?

I was a little nervous to join a new gym where I didn’t know anyone, but there was no reason to be! Everyone at the SHAC is welcoming and encouraging. The coaches are so knowledgeable and happy to help you adjust the workouts to your individual abilities. I am so happy I joined this community!

Such a friendly and welcoming place! We joined up while working in Tampa for a couple months and it instantly felt like we’d been there for years! Workouts are tough but Karen is great at scaling weights to your individual ability. Highly recommend this gym!

Ive been working out here for little over a month now. I suffered from a back and knee injury a while ago (not from this place) and the side effects still never fully healed. I've had doctors tell me that I'd probably never be able to lift again. I was nervous about joining due to the exercise routines this center has their athletes do. Not only did coach Karen boost my confidence, but she helped with my form and technique. As of today, the pain that has been lingering is gone, I can lift again...and I'm deadlifting! Never thought I'd see the day! This place has been such a positive mood booster for me. Everyone who attends the sessions have been amazingly friendly. Great atmosphere, great people, great workouts!

My husband and I travel to different areas for a few months at a time and decided to try the SHAC during our time in Tampa. The SHAC is a wonderful place to get in shape as well as meet some pretty amazing people and coaches! We loved our time at the SHAC and if we are ever back in Tampa, we will definitely join them again. Great work outs!!!

I love this gym! I let my older kids sometimes relax in the lounge when I’m doing class on Saturday morning and I love the lunch hour classes which are perfectly timed to have a quick shower after and get back to your desk :-) especially for those of us who have a lot of WFH zoom life and need a little break. This gym and the coaches have been awesome for so many reasons! Thanks KK and SHAC Team!

I moved to the neighborhood in Spring 2021 and joined the SHAC immediately because of how close it was. What I didn't realize is that I didn't just join a gym - I joined a community of people who encourage, challenge, and support your fitness journey every day you show up! There are options for people of every fitness level, and I promise there will be people cheering you on no matter what your goals are.

Upon attending my first week for free, each coach and members were approachable and kind. I signed up and enjoyed the options such as rowing classes and a class called Shac 40. That class routine programs includes body weight or dumbbells. I enjoy the various classes and options a person has and the times they are being offered.
