We had a great design experience - Alfred Huertas worked with us to get the vision for our Kitchen and 2 Bath remodel converted to an open design and we are satisfied with the final result. Biggest disappointment was the proficiency of the subcontractors and the length of time it took (over 18 months). We had a large tile job and the quality of install was below DIY. Quality issues we found in the original install took multiple visits by the punch tech to address. The quality of materials and appliances was good - very satisfied.Alfred was instrumental in getting our stalled project moving again by being a vocal advocate for us with S&W leadership. Since we were not living in the home during the remodel, it felt like the job suffered a lack of priority at S&W. Be a squeaky wheel. If you choose S&W - stay involved with the choice of subcontractors and scheduling. ‘First available’ yielded subpar results.

We embarked on a total kitchen remodel with a very specific design and budget for the small space we had to work with. During the design process, Lacie aided our vision with introducing a variety of ideas and options until we were confident that the final design met our expectations.During construction, Mike was there through every step of the remodel, starting with a detailed timeline and plan, so we knew we were all on the same page before the demo began. Any bumps in the road during the construction, Mike was there to handle and address. S&W was quick to correct any issues and stayed on track. The communication was great with daily progress and photos. Sub-contractors were clean and respectful. Specifically, the craftsmanship and attention to detail that Joe displayed installing our new cabinets was at the highest level of craftsmanship. As a team, they met the completion date in time for us to host our extended family for Thanksgiving dinner! An amazing experience overall, and would not work with anyone else!

My wife and I had an amazing experience working with Victoria at S&W Kitchens on our custom home build. Our project took over a year, she was patient and made sure we were satisfied with every detail along the way. Truly felt she had our best interest at heart. Her level of service has been extraordinary and not common to find these days. Highly recommended!

When guests come into our home, they use words like breathtaking and gorgeous to describe our new kitchen.Though a picture is worth a thousand words, what's an after picture without the before!Victoria Pratt was the designer and managed the project from start to finish. She captured the view I wanted as you walk in the front door of our 1950's bungalow! I can not say enough about her professionalism, her willingness to share her expertise and ideas -- and of course, as expected during a major renovation, her sense of calm and managerial leadership during the 'storms that occasionally pop up'. Her responsiveness is 5 star! From David to Joe to the entire team of professionals, we thank you for making our home makeover so very beautiful with our new kitchen!

We engaged S&W Kitchens to perform a makeover of our kitchen and 3 bathrooms and we are thrilled with the results. We worked closely with Lacie Rice on the design and she was simply outstanding in all respects. Highly organized and knowledgeable, Lacie helped make an intimidating project one that was easy and fun! We loved working with her from the design through completion. And Daniel Neris and the entire S&W construction team were awesome. We appreciated their promptness, attention to detail and excellent communication throughout the project. We had no prior experience with S&W and are so thankful we found them to lead this project for us!

August 2023 by Denise Gosse
I would give this place zero stars if I could. I chose S&W because I fell in love with my designer and her amazing ideas even though they came in 10% higher than their competitors. I met with the builder manager and he showed me how to install the S&W app. Cool! I was told that there would be entries every day showing me the progress of my kitchen project. AWESOME!. Remodeling began on my 9x13 kitchen in August 2022 and was finally completed in March 2023. All along the way, there were numerous examples of incompetence, poor workmanship, and a general lack of professionalism. Some examples of this include, no shows for appointments, calls at the last minute while I was already on my way to the office asking if I could be "squeezed in" (I have two cats and they need to be put away before letting workers in). Dust was everywhere because nothing was covered or protected. In fact, my brand new table has a ring of silicone on it because nobody bothered to cover it and someone left a caulk gun or something on it. Much of the work had to be redone because it was done poorly the first time. Some examples of this include broken window sills where workers went through my windows to dispose of debris during the demo, tile that had to be re-cut after install because electric work that should have been done prior wasn't. Additional electric work had to be done because I didn't pass inspection. Because my dishwasher wasn't installed properly the under sink cabinet sustained water damage and had to have a skin installed on top of it. After jackhammering into my outer concrete wall and leaving a big hole, it was determined that electric wiring couldn't be run to the wall. Food was ruined because the electricians rerouted breakers and my refrigerator was turned off while I was at the office. They didn't even bother to plug it in somewhere else. I understand that things have changed since the pandemic, but so many of the above setbacks could have been avoided if the project manager wasn't oversubscribed and oversight was provided. Afterall, this is why I hired a contractor instead of doing the project myself. Oh, by the way, the S&W app was NEVER updated with ANYTHING.Services: Tile work installation

S&W just completed a total renovation of our guest bath. I am a returning customer as 6 years ago they renovated my primary bath, laundry room and pantry. As always, Larissa Hicks did a fantastic job on designing the space and came up with solutions to every design challenge. Communication was always prompt--every text and email was responded to and addressed right away. Project Manager Mike Frary kept things running smoothly and made sure that the million little details were taken care of. We love our new bathroom!

We worked with S&W to do a complete renovation of our kitchen, wet bar and to also renovate adjacent areas. We are particularly thrilled with the final kitchen and bar, and absolutely love showing them off to our friends, family and neighbors. Working with our designer, Lacie Rice, was simply the best. She was attentive to details, knowledgeable and a real pleasure to work with, willing to take the time to put up with our desire to be involved in all the fine details. As for the subcontractors, Joe, the cabinet contractor, was a true and dedicated craftsman, and Alex, the flooring guy, Elvis, the backsplash tile guy, and Granite Plus, the countertop fabricators and installers were all particularly diligent, on task and qualified, providing great services. The project did take longer than we had hoped, but in the end, we realized that getting it right was more important than getting it done quickly. Those embarking on this type of project should be prepared for a longer time frame than you might tend to expect, but it's the overall industry, not this wonderful vendor. S&W, thanks for giving us an end product that give us a smile every day!Services: Kitchen countertop installation

From the moment I visited S & W Kitchen Tampa I knew I had made the right decision on selecting this company to remodel 3 bathrooms and a laundry room. Victoria was my designer/sales person. Wow, was she fantastic! Everything she picked out for our renovation I loved. If there was any questions or concerns with the project all I had to do was call her. She always responded that day. She has years of experience and is so knowledgeable. What an asset she is to this company. Davin was our construction supervisor. He was also great! He supervised the workers and kept me informed of the work schedule and who was coming. He always came and inspected the job after the workers left to make sure it was the highest of standards and met my approval. Thank you S & W, Victoria and Davin! You were a delight to work with. Next will be the kitchen remodel but for now I will let the dust settle and enjoy my remodels. Thanks again,Donna

We worked with S&W to renovate a kitchen, powder bathroom, hall bathroom and completely create a bathroom. It was a huge, huge process. We have a 1930s colonial and we were looking for someone that could create rooms that would fit in the vibe of this home, but be very functional and durable for our young family. We followed Larissa on Instagram and contacted her - she met with us quickly and was bubbling over with ideas for our project.I’ll start w/ her and her team… Larissa is talented, organized, incredibly responsive and detail-oriented. From the initial meeting, you’ll be charmed by her - she’s funny and full of amazing ideas. She has a knack for creating spaces that are gorgeous and functional. She understands how a family actually lives in a home and helped guide my husband and I in selecting layouts, fixtures, and products that would support our needs. We were debating a butcher block island top and she told us a VERY relevant story of when her son was small and used to stab a counter with his fork. I watched my 2 year old stab my just installed quartz island top last week and thought - whew. That could have been a nightmare. She absolutely understands the needs of her clients and makes a gorgeous space that fits.Larissa is also so, so patient. During the reno process, we obviously had to make many decisions about colors, fixtures, cabinetry, etc. As mentioned above, Larissa (and her assistant Alex) are wonderful at preselecting a couple of options because they understand their clients. This gives you a choice when it’s time to pick these things without creating too much noise - but they have no problem going back to the drawing board time and time again to patiently figure out what works best in your home within your vision if the choices they’ve given aren’t what you love. They also were patient with us when we couldn’t quite find the right paint color in our newly designed master bathroom - which HAD already been painted. We simply didn’t like the color once it was on the wall. Larissa and Alex both came over with samples, walked through options and helped us to find the right color. And now… we love it.In addition to Larissas vision/ talent… she selects people to work with her that are fantastic. As mentioned a few times, her assistant, Alex, is wonderful. He’s organized and calm. He’s reliable with a cool aesthetic. She works with an amazingly talented cabinet installer, Joe. If you’re lucky enough to have him on your project, it’s going to be perfect. We had a very difficult project because we selected inset cabinets and have an old home, so the floors are uneven. The walls are uneven and the ceiling? It’s uneven. But with inset, there is zero room for error or the cabinet will not fit correctly. Joe's job was done flawlessly - absolute perfection. Plus he is the tidiest human I’ve ever met, which was SO appreciated when completing a huge home renovation. Her tile team is fabulous and flawless, her appliance installers get the job done right.Related to the construction side of S&W… this is always going to be a little tricker b/c to my knowledge NO ONE loves living in construction, which is exactly what we did (with a toddler). However, hindsight being 20/20, I will say that the teams selected by S&W did quality work. My favorite on the construction side was Carlos - his team did a wonderful job of demo and framing. They even caught issues that would be a problem down the line and corrected these.Truthfully there were (many) times that I felt that we needed more communication, more results. But, overall, our end product is superb. Anything that we found to be less than, they’d work to get fixed. Even after our project wrapped, Mike (our PM by the end) dispatched relevant teams to correct any small issues that cropped up. I'd say a huge benefit is that S&W will stick to their word, they will show up, they will answer their phones (even after the project is wrapped). Which I think is pretty unique and shows a level of quality that I would recommend.Services: Kitchen remodelin

At the start of 2021 it was inevitable that our kitchen needed to be completely renovated as well as redesigned. After researching several different companies, we decided to work with S&W Kitchens. They had excellent reviews and have been established here for quite some time. As with any major project we expected our share of glitches here and there, especially with problems due to prolonged deliveries and workers becoming ill due to COVID. Working with Rosemarie Szedula, our designer, made this project seem effortless and smooth. She was reliable, honest, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went as expected and made sure that we had exactly what we wanted and needed. Anytime I reached out to her she responded quickly and took care of the issue. The kitchen turned out better than I expected, and the added storage space and peninsular are wonderful. The kitchen was completed on-time and the quality of the workmanship as well as the actual cabinetry, granite and tile was excellent. We are both very happy with our choice. Thank you Rosemarie and S&W!Teri & DaveService: Remodeling

When I made the decision to move forward with a kitchen remodel, I new I was going to need some serious help! I have remodeled bathrooms in the past but never a kitchen and it seemed overwhelming. I stopped into S&W Kitchens in the Tampa Showroom one Saturday and I am so thankful Gina Cerimele was there to greet me! After meeting with Gina, I quickly realized she is someone that is down to earth and genuinely wants you to be happy about the selections. She provides her expertise in design and trends - making sure to select a layout that is functional and guide you to select products that fit the space and style of the home. On countless occasions, Gina came to my home to map out the layout and reassure me through the entire selection process! Thank you Gina for being patient with me and for all your help and guidance!Service: Kitchen remodeling

We had a total kitchen renovation and worked closely with Gina Cerimele and Mike Frary - both of whom are consummate professionals. Gina listened to initial ideas and produced a beautiful and function design within our budget, which was important. Choosing finishes can seem overwhelming but Gina made it really easy.Mike provided clear expectations regarding timeline, a thorough overview of which trades to expect when, and they both made regular check-ins on site to review the work and touched base with us. The final budget was as expected and all information related to design/construction was provided to us in a binder, which really helped. I look forward to working with them again on a bathroom remodel soon.
