Haven’t visited the store in person yet but this is a review based off my experience exchanging my dresses online.
First of all, Amber is extremely sweet. I feel like the one bad review about the lady with the bad attitude must have been a one off experience cause I think this place is amazing.
Edit: That person “Lola” posting the one star review is actually a thief that posted a fake review so don’t let her deter you from this shop ?❤️
The audacity is nefarious to be doing that to somebody you stole from ???
It’s also unfortunate for those that visited to find the place wasn’t open, hopefully you give Rehab Exchange a second chance because the store owner may have been in an emergency.
Second of all some people left bad reviews because of price. They may not have known what to expect when discovering vintage fashion for the first time.
But the price for clothing you see (at least the fancy stuff) may be higher than you might anticipate because they’ve been picked out of a huge pile of other clothes, spotted at antique fairs, sold in estate sales, etc.
Because time is money, you the customer pay for the convenience of finding good clothes all in one place.
Just based off the Etsy store alone it’s made up of highly curated pieces where there’s thousands more items in the physical shop.
There’s also the cost of operating a brick and mortar store you may not take into account, or the fact that this is not a thrift store.
Because vintage is becoming very popular also, the prices will not always be dirt cheap.
For me it’s a give and take because I don’t always have the ability to attend antique fairs or find estate sales because I’m a medical student right now.
I’ve been in many Facebook groups, browsed many online shops, I think Rehab Exchange is right in the middle of where prices normally are if not a little lower than what I see a lot of other people sell their vintage clothing for.
On the other hand to say something positive, if you are new to vintage then you are in for a treat. You can find almost anything you want in any style you want and the most amazing part is that your clothing will last for decades to come! Even though the clothes are used, very often lightly used, if they’re still going strong after 30-70 years, with proper care they will still be in great shape after another 20-30.
The amount of uses you get out of a piece of vintage clothing will be pennies on the dollar, not the mention the community in general is nothing but positive.
All in all I’ve had a nothing but positive experience with this business and the store owner. The only reason why I posted a review here is because of Amber’s kindness and the super hard to find vintage dress I got from her shop. By far my favorite piece EVER that took me literally 5 years to find an available listing. AMAZING ❤️❤️❤️

I was over the moon in love with the brand new shop, Rehab which just opened off Kennedy, also the sister store to the one off Bay to Bay! I just needed a jacket or something to add with my pink cowboy boots. I searched and searched to find amazing things I wanted, but didn’t match my boots. As I am walking out, Amber the owner, stopped and asked me to wait because she knows of something perfect…OH MY GOSH!! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT FUR JACKET!! I love the fact Amber not only knows my style, she knows my size by just looking at me! Best experience ever with my pink boots! THANK YOU AMBER!! I highly recommend checking it out especially if you are out of town. I’m always looking for small businesses when I travel so I can have a one of a kind fit which no one else will have. I will definitely go back to both stores! Check out my pictures…

I stumbled upon this little gem completely by accident, not sure there is another place like it in all of Tampa Bay, feels more like a spot you would come across in NYC. It's not thrift, so expect pricing to reflect it, but has some of the most interesting and unique things that you will not find anywhere else. Designer items are mixed in, but it is not like a typical consignment shop with only high end items. Everything is so beautifully displayed, you could spend hours and still not see it all, so worth the visit!!

Horrible experience. The lady that works there has a bad attitude. I should of known better by the looks of this place. It looks like a good will. I do not recommend this place for its bad service, bad attitude, and above all it takes them months before your consignment to sell. I walked in one day and was interested in some shoes. The next day I come back for the shoes and the lady that works there had them on her feet. They are wearing your items that you are trusting in them to sell. Beware!

Amber was phenomenal. I was able to find some nice things. You just have to be willing to hunt. Only took a star off because prices seemed a little high.
