I have always loved Publix, it has always been my go to. But, unfortunately two days ago I went there to purchase spaghetti sauce for dinner. Well, as I’m cooking and tasting my sauce and meat, I realized there were MAGGOTS in the freaking sauce container swimming everywhere! Omg I thought I was going to die🤮 after screaming and vomiting all over the place, I called Publix and they told me to come in to sit down and discuss the situation. Well, I went and the sit down part didn’t happen. The manager on duty was nice, she offered to pay for my sauce. But no one, not one from Publix or corporate have reached out to me and my family to just say I’m sorry this happened to you. Well, I called a lawyer today! I’m not letting this go! It was a horrible experience.

I love Publix.. some of their items are higher, but their BOGO's are great, stores are clean, and I love their PubSubs. This one was on sale this week. It is the chicken tenders with peach heat sauce, fried jalapeño, coleslaw & Chipotle gouda cheese. $8.99 for 12in sub. It makes 2 meals. This was pretty good. Their employees are always courteous, and when I ask where something is, they bring me to it or let me know where I need to go.

Tired of ordering a sub online and it’s either not there even when I’m ten minutes behind the scheduled time, made wrong, or in the cold section of the fridge when it’s a hot sandwich. It’s not a complicated sub it’s just one type of meat one type of cheese and one sauce. Theres a heat lamp section of the sub holding area for a reason. Ordering from Jersey mikes a mile away is always worth it. Even though it’s more expensive Publix isn’t worth the hassle. I tell myself it’ll be different everytime and it’s always one of those issues.
