The Spanish only speaking sub making employees are rude as hell if you're not Spanish.. the fact that in 23 years of getting subs at Publix this is the only place to get your order wrong right in front of you.. needed to write this because it's 3 days in a row... Please get English speaking employees in there... Other then the deli the place is nice and everybody else is beyond helpful.

There was a very sweet lady in the deli area making catering platters today . She helped me find the other items for my occasion around the store as well as helped me to my car with all these platters . They all look beautiful , and she was a delight on what I’m sure is a busy Father’s Day for her .

This is not the Publix we usually go to. However I was very impressed with the store the cleanliness we got everything that we had on our list which was long because my husband was leaving for 3 weeks. The only thing I didn't like was the pharmacy would not let us pick up a script one day early because we were there and he was leaving 2 days later and I haven't been well. It would have made it so convenient now I'm sitting here having to make a special trip over there when we could have gotten it yesterday!

I go there shopping with my wife, she makes me put back about half of the items that I selected, but she is right, because I am an impulse shopper, I think they great quality and good prices.

There is someone that I feel compelled to recognize because he likely doesn’t expect it or even believe he is deserving (a sign of true humility, one of the many virtues that this man appears to live by, daily). He is a leader who clearly manages all aspects of his job very well including the details we customers are not privy to, as the stores that he runs always seems to be running like a well-oiled machine, when he is there (one of the main reasons I like to shop at his store) … but much more:
Sean Wilkinson has been the Store Manager for the Publix on South Dale Mabry for several years (and I knew and liked his predecessor as well), but I have known Sean from there and from other locations (first friendly encounter was at the Bayshore Publix seemingly the birthplace of many of the “stars in the Publix world” that I have come to know).
I have rarely met a man who was more dedicated to his work, who would go out of his way more to satisfy customers, colleagues and subordinates (without ever making them feel to be anything other than equals as people). He has shown himself to be honest, reliable, diligent, fair and a friend to all. Every Sunday I have looked forward to seeing him at the store where he is actively working on everything and anything that anyone there does, including gathering carts from the parking lot and cleaning up and stacking shelves, probably cleaning the restrooms if needed... Apparently, he demonstrates to his coworkers that he will do everything they do which creates a team that looks upon itself as a happy family. If I, a discerning (and perhaps somewhat demanding) customer needed anything at all in his store, even after other employees told me it could not be done, Sean always got it done or at least had a solution ready to go … rapidly without hesitation and with a smile on his face. I hope that I too treat my patients with the same efficiency, caring and success…
He is an inspiring individual whose contribution has markedly improved the community we live in and who very much deserves the promotion which he has just been given although selfishly we will miss him terribly around here. None the less, based upon his performance, demeanor, and general hard working good will with compassion for his fellow man, he actually seems to deserve to be the CEO of all of Publix and perhaps they should have his picture hanging in the corporate offices next to that of George Jenkins. I for one have been going to his store since 2008 because he and the people he trained (all of whom are outstanding and it seems have advanced remarkably since he has trained them) are there and my grocery shopping wishes are generally fulfilled when they are. Since grocery shopping is such an essential integral necessary part of our weekly lives, I needed to express these thoughts for others to know before Sean reaches the new lucky community that he will now serve…
Good luck Sean, all the best and Thank You!!
