Rude customers, staff is making it worse. They do not have a line at the service desk. It's just an open area for people to congregate. So what should be a line of customers devolves into a bitter mob jostling for position and the staff is happy to help whomever is the most aggressive. So be prepared for people to cut in front of you and for the staff to happily help them, unless you're prepared to shove them back, then they'll help you.Welcome to Publix! Shove your way to service!

This store is extremely small and has very limited options for meat, dairy, cheese, deli, bakery, and frozen goods. However, if you're looking for Spanish items, this store has the most extensive selection I've ever seen, which is great if that's what you're after, but not so much if you're not. The staff are very nice, but if you're used to shopping at a Publix like the ones on Westshore or Ehrlich Road, you'll likely be disappointed with this store. Although it's conveniently located near my new home, I choose to drive elsewhere. Furthermore, parking can be a bit of a pain, and the store is always extremely busy at all times.

First and foremost, I can conclude that they are likely understaffed and overworked, and also adjusting to supply chain issues following COVID-19. I do not envy their positions, and am certain that they do the best they can with what resources they have available. That all said, a prescription my doctor sent to them was concurrent with the same prescription issued earlier; different doses, different metabolic functions. As you can deduce, dose and metabolic uptake matters greatly. I called to request a refill and they did not ask me which I required, they *assumed* the earlier prescription, and not the latter, more current prescription.I did not notice it was the earlier Rx until after leaving the pharmacy. Determining where any fault was within this system then became my task. I first contacted this Publix pharmacy and was informed my doctor did not update my prescription on last refill (lie / misrepresentation of facts). I then contacted my doctor's office to confirm what was sent -- and they verified it was the most recent dose and metabolic Rx that I was not provided nor asked which I needed on this most recent refill. After a brief discussion with the pharmacist returning a call to them, they then argued with me as to whether the fault was with them or myself. This is where service became unacceptable -- they asserted it was my responsibility to dictate to them (and to remember) which dose and metabolic function I required, not theirs. As a pharmacy which potentially impacts the daily life and health of its clients, this is entirely unacceptable and belies the trust one places within it as an institution. I will no longer utilize this pharmacy, and therefore have left this review as a cautionary statement to others.

There is a Publix a half a mile away from my house. I drive an extra couple of miles to go to this one. Tonight Rosey was above and beyond!! The employees here are always nothing but amazing. I highly recommend this location.

Nothing like plucking the left over chicken feathers off their dry deli chicken wings. Love the bakery though. Prices in general are ridiculous compared to the low quality.

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them.I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars.

I do not get why people work for customer service, and they just are so rude. This Publix’s pharmacy is the worse.

They don't sell any shaving supplies. The have a section called "shaving needs" fully stocked with nair, after shave, and beard hair color. No razors, no shaving cream. Also the parking lot is a mess.Worst publix I've ever visited.

Pharmacist are just the worse. They used to be really good until they got new pharmacist. There’s one gentlemen there that likes to get in your personal business. He’s a newer guy. I’ve only seen him starting a few months back. He’s super rude and never wants to fill your scripts a couple days early. Which is a courtesy all pharmacies do. Just in case you’re going out of town or they have to order the scripts. One time my script was called in at 10:30am and didn’t get filled until after 7pm. My doctor wanted me to start a new medication right away and they took a few hours to fill it. This has happen over and over again..With the exception of Jason who is just super nice and quick, don’t waste your time. I go to Walgreens now and it’s been a pleasure doing business with them ever since I left public a few months back.

Jason and his entire team at the Publix Pharmacy deserve to be recognized for their hard work! They are friendly and extremely helpful. I’ve never seen such a busy pharmacy that works so tirelessly with such professionalism and patience regardless of the long line. They are working so hard to vaccinate their community and are true frontline workers during such a difficult past year.I am so grateful for their hard work in truly making a difference in Tampa!

I was recently diagnosed with Pneumonia after recovering from having COVID back on 8/09/2021 & I was trying to pick up my prescriptions. I didn’t have any narcotics prescribed of any kind, just antibiotics and steroids. The young lady at the register was giving me a hard time. I only have one insurance card via Aetna. She was very impatient and proceeded to tell me that my ID Card was incorrect & that I’ll need to call Aetna. So I call Aetna and they proceed to tell me there is only on ID Card, the one that I presented and my ID # for my prescriptions would be my social. She was very impatient with me and was trying to charge me full price for the prescription. I feel like I was being discriminated against and she made me feel like she didn’t believe I had insurance. I’m very sick so it strains me more to get upset. After calling Aetna to get everything situated another young lady in the pick up department figured it out and told me I don’t need to speak with Aetna and I’m able to purchase my prescription. After this experience that I had with the First Lady I don’t think I’ll ever use this pharmacy again. I don’t want to feel like I’m being discriminated against again. Someone needs to show her how to handle people, as far as the pharmacy technician located in the pick up area. They need more people like you that know what they are doing
