There are not enough cashiers at this store. Too many self checkout lanes. I’m not the least bit interested in ringing up my own groceries. Publix used to be a nice place to shop - to me this feels like the type of thing you would expect in a discount store. Not the type of shopping experience I’m looking for - pay the same price do the work yourself?? Why is this okay?

You need to give your bagging staff or maybe the whole staff sensitivity training. Calling a customer (or anyone) a 'bag fag' is unacceptable. True abuse was witnessed today. People have choices on where to shop.

I visited there with my severely autistic daughter just now. I didn't wheel the cart to the bagging area because my daughter was in the cart. She was stimming and rocking back and forth. Violet pulled the cart around. She didn't ask to pull it around.
