“I want to provide extremely positive feedback on Brent who works at the Angel Olivia Senior St location in Ybor, Tampa, FL.

Some context is that we had just endured a grueling 24 hr U-haul ride (meant to be 16 hrs) The U-haul was completely full, in the back and in the cabin, cramped with 2 cats, 2 adults, & also towing a car. We were not being able to get into my apt on the move-in day because the lease consultant said she would not stay a minute past 4, so we had to find a hotel during one of the busiest weekends in Tampa. Not fun to hear after you just pulled a few all-nighters, moving 6 large states away, and uprooting your whole life. We finally found one but then had to rush to get into the apt the very next day because the apt worker said they would not stay past 1:30.

Well we barely got to the apt in time but when we did, we got a wave into the parking lot from a U-Haul worker across the street. We pulled in and started to explain what had happened and the stress we had after pulling a few all-nighters and needing to return the truck the very next day to another location. Without hesitation, he offered us an extra day, even though we hadn’t asked directly, “oh you need an extra day? we got you”. He also made it possible for us to return the truck at that same location, so close to my apt building, without us directly doing any extra work or paperwork. He also pointed out a huge safety issue with the tow.

None of these things he had to do, let alone waving us into the parking lot. What was supposed to be a joyous occasion of moving to a brand new, beautiful city was turned into a nightmare before meeting Brent. His attitude and up beat attitude started to turn it all around. From the perspective of myself owning my own businesses, customer service, going the extra mile, and frankly just treating others like you want to be treated, you have a true A+ employee. I hope he gets the recognition and compensation he deserves because if he acts even half as well as he did on this day, on the daily, then he is invaluable and you should be immensely proud. Patrick at that location has also helped me a few times going above and beyond. Thank you Brent, Patrick, and U-haul!”

“Had a very questionable experience with another U Haul location in St. Pete and eventually made my way to this location on very short notice.Having driven through a typical late afternoon Florida monsoon of a storm for almost an hour and a half I was somewhat hesitant about going in.End of the month and the place was packed with customers who were probably at the end of their own wits yet it felt so much different than any previous visit to U Haul ( especially the St. Pete location that I just visited).Was greeted by a gentleman who asked me what I was there for and he immediately sent me to the proper line and I was greeted by an amazing and enthusiastic young woman who welcomed me and explained that she was there to help and that she would be doing the installation of my hitch.She took my keys after we signed the paperwork and told me that she would get right on it. I went outside after a few minutes and walked around the lot and sure enough she already had the vehicle up on the lift and was well into the project.While I waited I was greeted by a gentleman who apparently was a manager who was not only polite but very friendly and knowledgeable and understanding of my frustrations with the previous location.Less than an hour and I was on my way and had a professional installation completed.KUDOS to the entire staff and management of this location. If you want true customer service and satisfaction then make sure you get this location for all your moving needs and more.”

“After the jump start it immediately started up so I could finish my move. Was so excited because I didn't have to take my furniture that we put on the truck off and place on another truck. Thanks be to God and the swiftness of 2 of the staff members that assisted we continued the move, got everything moved to the new location in 2 hours. Thank you for U-haul and it's kind Manager Dayna for all she assisted with making a smooth transition from one phase to the other. Job well done!”

“The people were friendly but not really clear on the process. The attendant told me there was a 1/4 tank of gas but there was less than a 1/4 tank when I left. I drove the vehicle for 15 miles put 2 gal of gas in the vehicle, then was charged a $30 fuel fee plus, a 4 gal surcharge of $18. Buyer beware of "additional fees" that should not have been charged.

Update** Was contacted by the manager for the Citrus Park site and was refunded for the oversight of fuel charges. I updated to 4 stars knowing that was an innocent mistake that was made good.”

“Wow- This was such a great experience! Usually I bring my tank to other places and you can tell it is the LAST thing they want to deal with. Here it is literally what they do. In and out in less that 5 minutes with polite and professional service!”

“Suburban of Tampa…you have an incredible employee of 17 years who lives in Weeki Wachee, Michael (??). And you have EDGAR who is phenomenally amazing as well. I cannot say enough fantastic things about these two gentlemen. Just know that at 6:11 p.m. Thursday May 2nd I had to call Lakeland fire department due to our 25-year-old tank malfunctioning. The Fire Department called Suburban. By 6:38 p.m. Michael (??) called me and was on his way from Weeki Wachee to Lakeland (2 hr drive). He then spoke with the Fire Lieutenant who was assessing the incident/problem. From 8:30 to 11:15 p.m he worked in the dark, working very hard at containing the problem we were encountering. He made it safe. He was on the phone diligently making sure things were set up for the next day. At 11:09 a.m. Friday May 3rd, I received an email saying a serviceman was on his way. EDGAR arrived about 11:55 a.m. He was personable, calm, listened patiently to the long story, calculated what needed to be done and skillfully, carefully got it done!!! Absolutely incredible and amazing. Thank you so very much!! (I would share photos but Google isn’t allowing me to upload.)”

“Well, I don't usually buy gas here as it is the most expensive gas station of all in the area, but they do have a nice food truck which I visited and made good use of the parking. This is one of the places that charges a different rate whether you pay with cash or card. I get why they do that, but it's not for me. Anyhow, it is a clean establishment with, well, adequate parking for my needs.”

“I cannot believe the service I got here today came in to get a hitch put on and rent my trailer for my big move and Nicole who I spoke with yesterday was so on point and helpful made me feel like I was a vip at U-Haul while she was trying to find the best rate for me the general manager Mike came over and made sure I got what I needed for the best price!! Robert their tech went out his way to make sure my hitch was installed the right way and kept me updated the entire time he was working on it. They made my move so much easier with all the stress I was already going through the made it that much easier. Thank you guys soooo much!!!!!”
