“As a Professional Painting Contractor we used many types of coatings in the past. We have used Sherwin-Williams, Porter and ICI. When Color Wheel opened the Himes Store I was very happy to hear the news and open an account. I had done a lot of custom work for Disney in Orlando years ago and they used Color Wheel. So I figured if Disney uses it must be good! And it is. I must say with SW on ever corner they had a monopoly in the Bay area and they dictated the price to all contractors as they deemed fit. Needless to say they were killing us and even put a few companies out of business. A lot of homeowners ask for SW because they see them everywhere and assume it must be the best! "WRONG" SW uses more garbage in their coatings then waste management and most consumers don't read or research the product they trust the person behind the counter and buy the paint. Which would be fine if they told the customers an APPLES TO APPLES comparison to coatings available but that wouldn't be good business for them. And again most do it yourselfers don't really concern themselves with these little details until the coating breaks down, (i.e. cracking, peeling, bubbling) when this happens the store blames it on incorrect application techniques and the customer is on their own. OK now back Color Wheel, the guys at this store ( BROCK, BUDDY and BILL) really care and offer honest, professional, ethical and CORRECT information not only about the products they sell but APPLES TO APPLES on what the other guys sell and do it with a smile. Yes good old fashion customer service still exists the proof is located at this store. So if you are going to be taking on some painting projects yourself remember Safety First and use the right coating materials for the right projects. If you don't want to tackle these projects yourself and want the pro's help give Color Wheel a call and let tem know Eric sent you!”

“Very best paints, stains, sealants far surpass consumer grade products found in big home improvement stores but what makes me really improve my results with projects is the exceptional knowledge of their staff in identifying the ideal product for a given job (they're even honest enough to tell you when what you really need is sold elsewhere). The staff at this store have been in the game for decades and really know their stuff and gladly share their expertise. Wouldn't touch a paint project without their input.”

“Our local fabulous Sherwin Williams has a very professional, extremely patient, and knowledgeable staff consisting of Nick Guzman the store manager, wonderful Bruce Otten who really cared about me making the right paint choice for our entire home,
and helpful Michael! All I wanted was a light neutral color for the interior walls, but as you know depending on the light throughout your home you can end up with grey, orange, pink, putty, you name it. I've learned that undertones of the paint play a crucial part along with lighting. The good news is that we selected Alabaster SW 7008 which is an off-white with beige undertones thanks to Bruce who came to my rescue after several samples we tested throughout the week. When you know the guys by name and they know yours you know you are dealing with kind professionals who laugh when they see you coming in, but respectfully understand. Thank you, guys!”
“Not the cheapest but the staff is always helpful. The products are too quality. I do lots of painting and love SW products and paint. They always have what you need in stock. They offer to carry things to your car. The store is clean, well organized, and parking is easy and accessible.”

Then she called another store and said they have the other 2 I needed. She said she was going to another store and that she would get them and call me when they arrived. They arrived and I was able to put my bathroom and bedroom doors back up in the same day after painting. Thank you so much Beverly! Every store needs people like you.”
“Amazing experience, I was greeted as I walked through the door. Immediately asked what I need help with. I redeemed a coupon. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful and knowledgeable. She also followed up as I was browsing the store to see if I had any other questions. She made suggestions to my ideas that were really helpful and saved me time and money. I did not get her name but my receipt says Roxana. Thank you for all of the help. This store is 20 plus miles away from my house but I will use it more often for service like this.”
