Started my adventure here with an appointment for 9:30am. I sat in an empty lobby for an hour while my car sat outside. Two attractive females walked in without an appointment (they stated this, so that's how I know) and the Dude working took them in before me like it was his way of running game on them. He proceeded to go outside and flirt with them while for 30 minutes or so. I watched the guy in charge Ishmael or whatever his name is smoke like 6 cigarettes in the time it took to make my car move. The place is in dire need of repairs there were holes in the roof everything was dirty. I even watched the Service writer/ Manager put actually customers on hold to continue his personal conversation about real estate. Homeboy is buying deeds and tax leans instead of doing whatever he's supposed to be doing here. The phone was literally ringing without anyone to answer it several times. I think It shows the blatant disregard for their customers when I'm the only person in the lobby with the phone ringing off the hook. The only reason I was able to capture this is because I was taking a video to showcase the lack of cleanliness and responsibility this place is putting on display. Another one of the videos that I recorded showcasing how empty it is I almost captured a customer walk into the shop and yell hello over and over trying to find someone to help them. He walked back inside and I told him he should just leave good luck getting help from these guys. Like I said to that custome. I would avoid this place at all costs. I tried to be as detail oriented as possible with my review to show you that I am not making things up and this place is terrible. Absolutely terrible!! If you are not detoured by this review God have mercy on your vehicle. The worst part is I paid for my tires to be rotated and they refused to do it even after I proved them wrong with their own little colorful tire gauge. My car is a 2023 with 18,000 miles. There's no way my tires are unsafe to rotate. They will make any excuse to remain lazy and it is visible in all aspects of their business especially customer service. Then after I arrived home I discovered that they grossly overfilled my tires. They charge me for tire service on the receipt and did a tire disservice. As overinflating tires is not only dangerous but makes them wear faster and more unevenly. I even have audio clips of him arguing with me after I went outside with him and saw for myself that the tires were in spec. In the video he even admits on accident to almost out of specs. Or "damn near" out of specs as he phrased it. I'm sure he'll respond to this review but won't give me the corporate number so I can file a complaint on him. He likes to argue and do other things besides his job, so I doubt he'll give me the corporate number like I asked for in-store. The dude running the place is a tool you should really go somewhere else. Literally anywhere else!!!!

Honest work, honest prices, honest employees. this was easily the least stressful experience i’ve ever had with getting work done on my car, and Ismael’s communication and keeping me in the loop both before and during the service was greatly appreciated.

Ishmael & Lucas we're extremely helpful when I came in to have my brake pads & rotors replaced and even gave an extra discount beyond the one I pulled online. Explained the process and we're friendly and helpful from start to finish with a solid warranty. Also right next to the Village Inn so you can have a spot to grab something to eat while your car is being worked on and I'll absolutely be back if there are any other issues with my vehicle.

Posting this review after the fact because this Midas' poor work is still affecting me to this day. Took my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee here after the catalytic converter was cutout and stolen. The work was so poor that the new exhaust system broke free and nearly fell completely off while driving. A different Midas even recognized the poor work and back-charged this location after completing the work correctly. Do not take your vehicle here, mechanics and management are incompetent.

I had my air conditioner repaired at the Tampa store in August of 2022. In July of 2023, the air conditioner went out again. The manager of the Tampa store told me I was able to bring the car back to the Winter Haven store to have the repair done, because the stores were dually owned. Since the part was still under warranty, I would just have to pay for the labor.Thankfully before visiting the store, I decided to have the car diagnosed at Chevrolet to make sure the compressor was the issue. They confirmed that was the ONLY issue.When I arrived at this store at noon on Friday, they were not able to locate the part to fix my car by closing time and I would have to leave my car there for the weekend to be repaired.When I picked the car up on Monday, a rat had chewed a hole in the front seat over the weekend. The hole measured 2.5” x 2.5”. The rat also ate my sons IPad cover, chewed the underside of the passenger seat and ruined a children’s book.The manager, Jonathon, was super apologetic and admitted that when they acquired the business they had a huge rat problem. He said they would repair any damage that was done.I took off work that Wednesday and had the car fully inspected to make sure no further damage had been done.I originally wanted the seat replaced but the owner refused the replace the seat, only to repair, which I finally accepted. I took off work and searched all over to find a place to repair the seat, but the hole was too large for anyone to successfully repair, without it looking totally botched. Each place I took it to, suggested placing a new seat cover over half or the whole seat. I finally accepted that I would have to get a cover put on the bottom half of the seat and that it would not perfectly match the rest of the seats in the car. The new cover would be part leather and part vinyl.A month after leaving the Winter Haven store, the air conditioner went out again. Since it was within the 90 day warranty, I could take my car to any Midas to be repaired.I chose a store in Orlando, who noticed the Winter Haven store had not done the repair correctly. They replaced the compressor and other minor issues the Winter Haven store had done incorrectly.Literally a month later, the AC went out AGAIN! I was so fed up with Midas I took the car to a repair shop that I knew I could I trust. Within about 45 minutes they let me know that the compressor was broken again, and that Midas had used a cheap repurposed part. During the repair, they noticed that the line to the compressor had been bent (most likely by the Winter Haven store to get their cheap part to fit). That was why the compressor kept breaking. They were able to bend the line back into place, but warned me that it may break again in a couple years or so. I spent another $1050 at this store.This was obviously caused by the Winter Haven store because the bent line was not noted on the original diagnosis from Chevrolet and that was why the air conditioner kept going out.I submitted both bills, the vinyl repair bill and the bill from the car repair location who fixed my air conditioner, to the Winter Haven store. The owner of both locations is refusing to pay for the air conditioner repair and is only offering to pay for the seat repair, which is around $500.As a business owner, I know the value of good customer service and taking care of clients. I feel like a nobody to them and have never felt so mistreated by a business. I have taken multiple days off work, had my air conditioner break 3 times within a three-month period (during the summer) and had my car eaten by a rat and all they are offering me is $500?!? Wow.They will lose far more business from would-be future customers reading this review than it would have cost them to just pay my $1050 repair bill along with the seat repair.Please do yourself a favor and avoid both of these locations at all costs.Update: As of January 12, 2024, Midas corporate has resolved this issue.

Midas was great, my car broke down on the highway and they were able to get me in and fix me up right away. Izzy and Dave are great and really know how to explain things and know car trouble is not fun.

Find somewhere else but if you are forced to bring your car here, make sure they give you the right part! I brought my car in to get a new battery. After that, I was having issues with my car and was told by the dealership that the wrong battery was put in my car. I called this Midas location and they assured me that it was the correct battery (shame on me for believing them). Well, surprise surprise.... A few months later I ended up being stranded with my kids because my car wouldn't start. I drove it straight there and they told me that it would be a week before they could get the correct battery. They did put the wrong battery in my car. Even the battery brand that they put in my car states that it should not be in my car. I called the manager at the location and he had no interest in helping me. He informed me that the location changed ownership since I got the battery and it was not their problem and would not be refunding me for the incorrect part being put in my car that caused problems.
