“Being a tourist, not aware so many would be closed. I was so happy to be here at Christmas day at 4pm. They closed at 5 pm so I had time to investigate the store. They have do many strange fresh vetables. I saw Aloe vera and cactus. And you could order fresh meat. The music played Salsa and the atmosphere was so cheerful. I danced a little in the store. The staff did the same.”

“I have shopped here for years, and I always stop here when I'm back in town. I am a gringo, I strongly disagree w/Gordon Smith, who said if you're not Latino you're gonna be treated "like scum." You should have the decency to know just some Spanish to order your food, if you want to try their excellent deli. Hey, the girls at the checkout are usually singing, happy. I always leave happy. Just don't go in acting like you're something special. I'll be there in 5 days, my mouth is watering and I can't wait for my Cafe con leche!!”
“Great place. The prices are great. The hot food section and food is one of the best I have had in Tampa. I only wish they would close a little later. Getting of work at 5:00, when I get there I feel I have to rush into buying what I need. So when I go there I try to have my list of needed items ready. I would recommend. The owner ate from Dominican Republic, so I love it because I find that they something have fruits from the Island that I love.”
“Last couple times I bought fish at either Lotte Markets it turned out hard and rubbery. Do they soak it in a chemical bath to increase the shelf life or something? Anyways the produce selection was awesome. Great prices.
Fun to walk around to check out the cool foreign products. We bought a Middle Eastern cookie, I think it was used as a desert for completing Ramadan or something, but wow...tasted like soap. Totally blew $7.

“I have been here going on my 5th time now and I have yet to have an issue. The food in the food line in the back is delicious. I have tried there fried fish, chicken, shrimp and salmon. I have yet to be disappointed. AND they load up the plates.
The women who work the food line in the back are sweethearts. I have seen them catch a tude with a customer, but the customer was beyond rude to them first.”

“This business is located amongst warehouses, and shopping here is not your normal meat market experience, but rest assured, you be getting quality product. They basically are a high end wholesale meat distributor that also sells to the public, so you don't go inside and shop around. You go on their website and place your order, and pick it up the following day, between 6am and 3pm. I usually purchase Duroc pork butt and Duroc pork belly, a breed around for a couple hundred years with high quality reddish meat, not pale. They have beef, poultry, seafood, cheese, and various other products as well. Check out what they have on their website.”

“Before spanish colmados started popping up like mushrooms in a wet pasture, many years ago this place was my go to for latino products. Two decades later, there is just one thing I come for, whole goat leg.Nothing much has changed here. A small very crowded (with product) market with small aisles that houses all the basic essentials for latin american ciusine. A butcher shop provides fresh chicken, beef and pork. Most all other products like rabbit, seafood, goat and lamb are sold frozen. An aisle with fresh vegetables and fruit and the entire back and one side offer refrigerated drinks and various other sundries.Located on W. Waters Ave. and Manhattan the shop is a cornerstone to a 2 level plaza (strip center). Here as long as I can remember it seems like it's caught in time and looks exactly the same.”
“This place gets 5 stars. I seen a comment about someone buying chicken wings. She gave them 1 star cause she cldnt cook. If your wings tasted nasty. Simply learn how to cook. I get wings from them all the time. Nothing wrong with them. Their meats be fresh”

“Although the parking lot was full. I was able to find one at the door. I was fortunate to grab a bag of cabbage, greens and okra, pay for myvitems with no waiting in long lines and be out within 7 minutes or less.”

“Clean atmosphere and surroundings, despite the neighborhood, being low income, filled with drugs and homelessness. Prices are higher than those of larger chain stores. However, they offer ethical items that are not widely available. The staff is friendly and happy to serve regardless of the language barrier. Freshly cooked meat and vegetables food items are attractively displayed and enjoyed by busy patrons. Respectfully and your good wishes”
