Last month I sent some boxes to the Dominican Republic. The owner says one price and when they arrive at your door it is another. $60 to 65 if you sent 2 boxes or more it was today 4/7/22 The owner Raised the prices to DR again now it is 75, and expressed that in NY they were $120. You can't compare prices from NY to Florida. They are abusing the prices

First time using this shipping company and I will definitely be using their service again in the near future. However, the package was supposed to be delivered to Santiago but instead, my cousin received a call that the package was in Santo Domingo. Both have a district with the same name so they delivered to Santo Domingo even though the receipt had the correct address on it. They told my cousin that they had to look to see when the next delivery was in Santiago but that it would be a few days. They are fortunate enough to have a car so they drove to the Capital and picked up the package but not everyone has the same luxury or money to travel about 2.5 hours to pick up a package so this is why they received a 4 star instead of a 5 star. They picked up the package at my home on 10-5-21 and packaged arrived to Santo Domingo on 10-22-21. The cost was better than other shipping companies and yes, they asked me to leave the box open so they could confirm what I told them was in the box was actually in there so I paid exactly what they told me over the phone. Everyone I dealt with at Larimar was very helpful and friendly (both over the phone and the drivers).

In principle, it was a good and reliable company, everything arrived on time and complete, but a few months here they have been damaged, the boxes arrive late apart from the fact that they are arriving incomplete and when you call to complain, a certain Kirsy speaks to you with aptitude as if it were free but I don't send anymore there.

My experience with them has been a positive one, for the past 13 years. They have always delivered without problems. I also follow their regulations so I won't create problems for them when my box goes through customs. It is obvious that boxes need to be opened, but I've never had anything missing. The office staff, in Tampa, is the most helpful and courteous you could ask for. Just recently I met the owner, and he's the most down-to-earth business owner you'd ever meet. All in all, if I could give them 10 ⭐ I would. I'll continue to do business with them as long as needed. Highly recommend it.For the last 13 years, my experience with them has been positive. The worst shipping company that I had ever deal with, they open the boxes here just to see what you are sending and if they see that you have new clothing and shoes even though you are reporting that its mix of old and new things, they wait until the box gets to its destination to tell you that ADUANA is charging double for that box because there is more new stuff than used and not only that they tell a price over the phone and when they go to your house to pick up the box it's a totally different price and its like you have no choice. I do not recommend that company
