I have 3 kids. In total they have been going here I think since 2017, from the infant room to the 2nd grade cutoff. As a mom I was so scared to leave my children with anyone. I had mostly sitters, and one other daycare prior. I honestly LOVE this daycare. So much so when we moved from TNC out close to Busch Gardens, I choose to drive my kids back to TNC for this school every single day. The staff is amazing. The kids are happy. Any bumps or bruises are reported to me (they are kids). My kids have all learned so much. They speak a bit of Spanish even at this point. My middle child even cries for one of the teachers there (Her Mayble). If your looking for a daycare I highly recommend. 10/10

My twins went here for VPK last year and I couldn’t be happier. They were able to learn both Spanish and English. My one son is now able to count to 100 in Spanish. The curriculum is stringent and thorough. There are many very, very kind teachers and staff that work here a specific shout out to Miss Alma, who greets the kids at the front door every morning. What a tremendous asset she is to the school. I would highly recommend school to any parent that cares about preparing their children for elementary school.

I hate to bash I was really looking forward to loving this daycare but the infestation is crazy my son was only here for a month and that was due to me having to look for a better daycare. Ever since he started everyday was a new bug bite I took my son to his pediatrician turns out it had to be bed bugs spider bite since the bites would swell up and fell hot as I touched it. Now, when it came down to fixing the issue the staff would make it seem that they would have someone to come in regularly to fumigate which I feel was a lie a whole month and my son was getting bit up bad. As a first time mom I was not happy at all. When it came down to transferring my son to a new daycare these people were forcing me to have to pay for 2 weeks straight since I didn't give them 2 weeks. This daycare right here was the worst experience me and my 2 year old have to ever endure PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR BABIES HERE !!!!!!

I was surprised to see so many poor reviews on here. That has not been my experience at all. 9 years ago I enrolled my first born when he was 2yrs old. Over the years all three of my children have attended, even my two oldest up until a couple of years ago. Even though they no longer go, staff still ask how they are doing from time to time, and if they are present when picking up the youngest, they enjoy saying hello to LOLA staff. My youngest is two and she barely says goodbye to us in the mornings when we drop her off...she is ready to go.Now, there have been a few instances where my kids have had conflicts with other children that attended. However, the staff has always verbalized if there was a problem and quickly found resolution. I am a pretty picky person when it comes to my kids. I have always felt good about dropping them off here, and had peace of mind knowing they are in a safe place where they can learn, play, and get quality care. I hope people are not missing out on a great experience for both child and family based on these reviews.

Horrible place. They do not CARE about your kid just MONEY. You will regret it sooner rather than later. If you care about your children take them somewhere else.

If I could score negative stars, I would. My daughter has been here 1 month exactly and has had two different boys hit her: one hit her on the back of the head hard with a ball after having had targeted her a week earlier; and today another kicked her in the stomach. A teacher is never around to witness, and I get comments like, your daughter should've spoke up about these incidents. How about you guys get the kids in order and start expelling them for physically harming 1st graders. Not to mention that my daughters friend got hit in the back of the head with rocks by girls who were bullying her. My daughters homework was scribbles compared to what I usually do with her. The nerve of this trashy a$$ place! Price is cheap but you get what you pay for. I think calling licensing and reporting the lack of care for kids is way overdue. The ratings and reviews for this place on Yelp and Google all seem to complain of the same disregard for care of children.

Our son Kostas started at LOLA at the beginning of this year in VPK class. We moved to Tampa mid summer from California and we were worried that we wouldn’t find a good school for him. To our surprise we heard great things about LOLA from a neighbor and we instantly went to pay a school a visit. We were greeted by a great friendly staff who gave us a tour of the school as well as went over the VPK program with us. Kostas was assigned to Ms. Mily’s class and I do not know how to begin to describe this amazing woman. Ms. Mily has been a true blessing for us, she’s not only a great teacher, she truly cares about our sons well being. She has helped Kostas so much and we’ve seen so much progress on him since he started her class. He has also made lots of friends and that is so great for us since he was a bit shy. LOLA has been nothing but welcoming to Kostas and we feel we are part of this great family.I recommend this school to all parents out there. They have great teachers, great staff and an excellent program.

I have to be honest: after reading some of the reviews on here, I was a bit anxious about bringing my child to this daycare. However, it was between LOLA and a daycare that made my stomach twist in knots as soon as we walked in so we enrolled my child here. Let me tell you, I’m not sure why there are bad reviews. Everyone is so friendly, the facility is clean, my child seems happy to be there. Furthermore, I’m a first time mom and call literally every single day to check on my child, and if it bothers the staff, they’re doing a great job at hiding it because they encourage me to check in as often as I want. I truly feel that my child’s teacher cares about the kiddos in her class and always has a smile on her face. So far, I’m so pleased with our decision to enroll our baby here.

We are lucky to have found Land of Learning. Our previous experience at a different daycare was not a positive one. We were very leery of all daycares, but we needed childcare. From the first time we walked into LOLA we had a positive experience. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The supervisors answered all of our questions without being irritated or annoyed. They were just starting their infant room and were able to accommodate us quickly. The first day of drop off I was a wreck. Everyone was super supportive and said I could call or stop by whenever I liked to check on our baby. They made me like it was normal to be nervous about leaving him, when his previous daycare made me feel like an inconvenience for worrying. Our child is happy when we drop him off and pick him up. His teacher is genuinely excited when he arrives. The teachers seem to know all of the children, even though it is quite large. Whenever I go to pick him up or drop him off I am greeted with smiling faces and kind words. I would definitely recommend this daycare if you are looking for infant care or older.

This place is horrible! They neglect the children. They scream at children inappropriately, laugh & mock children/parents. My child came home with poop on underwear for 2 weeks. I addressed it every time & nothing changed until I blew up because their bottom became completely raw due to sitting in feces. This is inhumane & unsanitary. The employees are rude, condescending, disrespectful, uneducated & argumentative. They make excuses for absolutely everything & take zero accountability. They had me sign an incident report at least once a week(usually more) for the past 3 months for my child getting hurt. I confronted them about it because the injuries are getting more frequent & much worse & now my child was hit in the face 2 weeks in a row. My child has been telling me their scared & sounds like they're being coached on what to say when I ask what happened. Their response was "well you have a choice, you can either trust your child with us or find a new school for them". How does that resolve anything!? They never apologize for anything, instead they would just become defensive which only makes them look more guilty. Jaime is extremely rude & makes promises she cannot keep & without consulting with the owner first, then just denies everything & is not held accountable. Jaime & Jose's relationship with each other appears to be inappropriate in itself. The owner tried to intimidate us & even screamed at us. The owner used verbiage like "your child's situation", because she is adopted. Discriminating against us! We were stuck on a cruise during Hurricane Irma & Maria & held out at sea, without a choice to come home & the owner only cared about money. We have always paid the full tuition (with zero assistance/discount) & always on time! We had vacation time available that could have been used for our child & you would think they would have made an exception due to the circumstances, but they completely refused. They had damage done to the school due to the storm & they still opened their doors, endangering the children. All they care about is money! I have asked weekly how my child is doing & have always been told "great" from the staff, to only be told now that they feel she is "behind". Why is this just now being recognized when I have asked weekly. They do not provide the children with what they need academically & they also do not care for their well-being. Interesting enough my aunt & both of my sisters have their Masters in educated & we had our child evaluated by a 3rd party & all have said definitely not behind. We were informed that they receive funding from the State, so they take all of that money & do not use it for the children. My child had digestion issues & would come home hungry every day, proving to me that she was not eating their food because it was upsetting their stomach. I have asked them 3 times where they get their food catered from. Initially told they couldn't remember the name of the place & then told they just changed places so they didn't know the name of it. My child has been sick constantly because they don't send kids home when they are sick. I told the owner that I was concerned about the amount of incident reports I was having to sign weekly & his response was "we are not concerned". How can you not be concerned, my child is getting hurt!? The owner told us that "when someone brings him problems, he gets rid of them", sounds like a threat huh?! They just placed locks on the doors, yet they are still completely open & the majority of the time there is no one at the desk. This is a huge risk that a child could walk out/someone could walk in with bad intentions to harm them. What breaks my heart is that my child has a bond with the teacher (whom was absolutely amazing) & the arrogant owner could careless! Our niece & nephew went here 10 years ago when the founders of LOLA owned it &a

Both of my children began their preschool education at Land of Lewrning Academy and I am so glad they did! My oldest son (now in 1st grade) was diagnosed with ADHD while attending Land of Learning. The owner Mr. Jose and his staff were so patient with him & more than accommodating to his needs (while also not making him feel “different”). The teachers there really take the time to get to know each student on an individual level, which I love! If you are looking for a great learning environment for your children, one-of-a-kind teaching staff, and a place your children will actually look forward to going to, Land of Learning is the place to be.

Our Granddaughter attends Land of Learning Academy and the changes in her have been amazing. She is now bright and even more personable than ever before. She wants to go to school rather than go out and wants us to pick her up AFTER playground time. Her biggest thrill was introducing us to her dance teacher whom she "loves" as she "loves" all her teachers. There is no other place we'd want her to be and it is just fine with her as well!

I feel incredibly fortunate to have found this school for my child. An education is always a great investment, but to know that my child is not just getting a great academic education but also being taught good moral values is very reassuring. I would recommend this school to anyone who is truly interested in the well being of their children. You can see the positive attitudes in the children every day, and it feels good to know my child is in a safe, fun, and academically challenging environment every day.

My son has been attending LOLA for almost 5 months, he loves his class and especially his teacher Ms.Mabel. She is so loving ,caring and a mother like figure for him. This is his first preschool, he was 2.8 years when he started and they helped him in potty training(thanks to Ms.Mabel and LOLA's no diaper policy). His social skills has improved a lot. When he started he was not saying a word and I was very much worried how he is going to convey things. But his teacher could understand him just like me and within 5 months he started showing improvements in his language skills. Now he has started saying multiple words and often tries to sing with the nursery rhymes.I don't have enough words to express my thanks to his teacher Ms.Mabel and all the other staffs for helping and supporting him. Excellent communication each day, letting you know the good days and any days that might have been off (if they see signs of anything different in my son's general nature). They have an awesome play area, which my son loves and their facility is clean always. I would like to rate LOLA a 4.5 out of 5 (left 0.5 for continuing their improvement in future)and his teacher Ms.Mabel a 5 star for all her good work with the kids.I would recommend this preschool based on my personal experience.
