I have been sitting here for 4 hours now. If you don’t have a paper lab order you will wait an extra half hour to get this emailed to them because they will take in someone else while they wait for your lab order to be sent and processed in their system which takes 15min. I have never waited this long for a simple blood work done in my life. Ridiculous. All labcorps are horrible their system is horrible. This does not go for the very nice phlebotomist i got lab work done before but in the MLK location. Unfortunately it was in construction forcing me to come here. I

I had an appointment on 08/29/24 at 1130 am. I showed up to Labcorp in CVS for my APPOINTMENT. There was a sign on the door that said closed, and then a generic number for Labcorp. I spoke to the manager of CVS and he said that they have had trouble with staffing. No problem, but I didn't get an email canceling my appointment, or changing the locations, so I showed up. I called the number and the lady on the phone told me to go to the nearest labcorp, and they would honor my appointment. So I did, and I went and there was no one in the front lobby, just the regular check in screen that put me down as a walk in. After 10 minutes, I finally stopped someone going into the back and asked to speak to someone. The dark haired lady with tattoos at La Salle Street was SO extremely rude and disrespectful, getting very argumentative with me telling me there was a sign on the door that her manager put yesterday telling everyone to go to Dr Martin Luther King Blvd. I said ma'am there wasn't a sign that said that, just a sign that it was closed with a generic number, and she continued to be rude and tell me how there are two people at this one and she doesn't have the time to help me. I left not only disappointed with the situation, but also disappointed with the lack of customer service. I called back Labcorp, as I drove another 15 minutes to the Dr. Martin Luther King location. This lady was pleasant., and I told her what happened. She proceeded to tell me how there were no appointments available, and I told her I have an appointment, I understand I am over my appointment time at this point, but it's because this is my third labcorp I am coming to. She really tried to help me, but there was nothing she could really do. I got there and finally got someone's attention to talk to who continued to tell me that they can't be taking other people's appointments, because they have appointments themselves. She told me I could join the walk in line but it will be at-least an hour if not more. At this point, I have spent TWO HOURS away from work for this appointment at labcorp, and didn't even get the wellness exam I wanted to get. I had to leave and go back to work and use PTO for my time that I didn't even get the exam I needed. It was pathetic. I am so disappointed in the lack of communication, and the lack of customer service at this establishment.

If I could give TEN stars I would. The ladies here are so energetic and sweet. I would recommend them to anyone. I also had an extra order and they were kind enough to accommodate it last minute. Service was quick and the area clean. Thank you!

Sadly, my Labcorp is not an approved in network provider with my insurance company. Still giving 5 stars because, if I could afford to private pay for labs, this is where I would go.

Excellent service here. Easy to make an appointment, short wait times. A very careful and kind staff, very good technique for bloodwork. Organized and clean. Probably the best place in the area for bloodwork. And it is inside Walgreens, so very convenient to shop before or after your appointment. Has plenty of parking and chairs to seat in the waiting area.

Disappointed in Lap Corp . Door closed at 4 arrived at 3:45 and they already closed their doors . Which is false advertisement is you close your doors before 4 so this deserves a bad review and a photo of their employees shenanigans

The lab actually closes half an hour early every day, so that the employees can have enough time to play phone games before they have to go home.

Lab closes 30 min early which should be listed on the website. They are there with the door closed and you are unable to check in even though they should be open. Walgreens cannot do anything ro help.

Great lab at a convenient location! Michelle is a very good phlebotomist. Nice to have a local location that is clean and appointments are available.

This is my go-to Labcorp location. Quick, easy and efficient. I am in and out within minutes and the phlebotomist is fantastic. She is one of the best I’ve ever dealt with and that’s saying a lot since I frequently have to get blood drawn.

Appt 7:30, waited until 7:45, then they would not do lab work because my order wasn’t printed. Asked if I could email/text/airdrop lab order and showed it on my phone but she would not let me. She also failed to mention that Walgreens prints documents AND FedEx is across the street. Hardly think I’m the first person to ever bring lab order on phone. Labworks should include note on appt confirmation that you MUST print the order or you will drive all the way there fasting in traffic for nothing.
