Our Daughter started going to La Petite on Mapledale when she had turned 1 yr and 5 months. Hardest decision we had to make as parents since we were so used to having her with us while we worked from home. From day 1, Jessica was very welcoming and sweet not only with helping me with his transition but also with our daughter. The teachers she has had so far have been nothing but supportive and all hands on deck. You are able to stream live and make sure that your child is being taken care off. Needless to say the first few months were tough because she would cry and didn’t want us to leave but the teachers always made sure she was not alone and felt love which is important not only to us but our girl too. She doesn’t cry anymore and feels happy to be there, sometimes makes it hard at pick up because she doesn’t want to leave. Jessica assured me that things would turn around for our daughter and here we are. We want to thank Jessica and the staff for always making sure our daughter is taken care off at all times. I can always count for a quick response when I have a question. Thank you ?

I’m at a loss at all the negative reviews. This is a wonderful school. Many of the teachers have been there for a long time and the new director is amazing. I have nothing but great things to say.

PLEASE READ!!!!!My daughter started this daycare six months ago. She was in toddler one and obviously it’s hard when they start and we have to leave them there.. all was great the girls in Toddler one are amazing, but as I kept dropping off my daughter and picking her up I had to cross through Toddler 2 to get to toddler 1. The teacher in Toddler 2 was extremely loud and very passive aggressive with the kids, didn’t pay mind to it. My daughter turned 2 and the staff start transition her into Toddler 2 I explained to the staff/Manager Jessica/Kristian All they said was give her a chance and that they will keep there eye open. I said no problem. I work from Home and I watched everyday the cameras to ensure she was safe and happy.Well on Oct 26th I witnessed on the camera in Toddler 2 the teacher was placing all kids to sleep and I noticed one child running around well she grabbed him by the arm lifted him off the ground and took him lifted in the air to his bed, I couldn’t believe what I saw she could’ve pulled his arm out the socket. Then a girl also got out of her bed and she goes to her and slammed her on the cushion where they sleep. When I saw this I immediately went to her Day Care and told Manager what happen. Teacher ended suspended than fired.Point is my experience with this Day Care was so concerning and frustrating I DONT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY. The place smells terrible and it’s extremely dirty. My daughter ALWAYS came home with a runny nose and dirty. If you care about your children please don’t visit or leave your child in harms way.

THE WORST PLACE MY CHILD COULD'VE GONE. This place is so disappointing, disgusting, dirty, they don't give the kids care or attention. I've noticed my daughter being there it was the worst experience for her and our family. My husband witness a teacher lifting a child in the air with one arm and easily the child arm could of came out of socket. My daughter has been going there for 6 months please PARENTS don't waste your time. Jessica/Kristian didn't hear our concerns as parents and very easily they told us if we didn't like it we were welcome to explore other Day cares, so we did. "THE GODDARD SCHOOL" HARVARD SCHOOL FOR TODDLERS. The reason for this review is to explain to new parents or current to be aware of this place. Best of LUCK!This place doesn't deserve to be open!!!!!

Worse daycare I experienced they price high for no reason its nothing caring or compassionate about this facility. They all about the money. Everytime I went to pick my child up her nose was always runny and she stayed sick. They let big kids come in the area where only babies should be. All in all I found a way better and reasonable price daycare that actually care for the well-being of the children. They won't be in business for to long with the workers they hired at that facility. Rate is 2 out of 10. The only good thing about it is they kept you updated through a app about your child and you could watch your child on video throughout the day.when I did watch the video the staff picked up the babies like they was rag dolls. They carried the babies by one arm clutching the child stomach. They let your child cry for over 30 minutes and walk pass the babies like they not there. It was a horrible thing to watch. I found my child a way better daycare quick

Our baby has been with LaPetite on Mapledale since December 2022 and I cannot tell you enough how well cared for and loved she is at this daycare. Every single person who works there cares deeply about the well being of children all ages and its a direct reflection in my child. My daughter is EXCITED to go to LaPetite every day and has a wonderful bond with all of her teachers. I check into the Live Watch App - several times a day and never once have seen my child (or any other) unattended or crying alone. We go to work everyday knowing our daughter is in the best hands, thank you LaPetite for that!

We love La Petite on Mapledale! From the teachers, to the chef, to the director, everyone genuinely cares about the happiness and safety of the kiddos! With new management and dedicated staff, this school is making a turn around to one of the best in the area. My littles are definitely blessed to call this school their home away from home! ❤️

The WORST experience!! My son cried HARD each time I dropped him off… so I watch’s the video! He was sitting all ALONE, In area by himself, obviously bothered and wanted to come by the other kids , for 17 minutes. THEN, the teacher Brought him to a table ALL by himself!! (For another 14 minutes I believe, with his back to all the other kids at the other 2 tables) He was Sooo sad and kept looking back, totally isolated and hurt… soo hard for me to watch ., but so glad I did rather than let him get neglected. I paid and never came back! To this day, 2 months later… he says “daddy I don’t want to go to that school with the ‘pirate lady’. Cold and barely any love. Now maybe… it may have just been a terrible fit, hoping you are discerning with your child. Blessings

Two of my kiddos have attended this school since they were 6 months old. Our 3rd kid will be starting this year. Out of all the Directors since 2016, Ms.Tonya is the most compassionate, trustworthy, and competent. What sets her apart from the other Directors is she actually listens to the parent and actually cares. Our kids have dairy allergies down to all derivatives including butter and she was able to find a solution that worked for my 2nd kid and the teacher. My first kid was not so lucky, but that was with previous directors. I know it is their job to take care of the kiddos, but she is one of the reasons I continue to bring my kids here. The care factor and it almost always starts from the top-down. That care factor gives that home-like feeling rather than feeling like a business transaction. Four of the teachers have been there for a long time and 2 others have retired. It is not necessarily the place that provides a great experience, but the people.
