This is the worst H&R Block. Lazy, unprofessional and rude. Nelson refused to do my taxes after I made an appointment. Came in and sat down and he took a look and said sorry I can’t do that it will take me over an hour! Disgraceful service. The managers Marilyn’s response was ‘if he’s too busy he’s too busy!’ Unbelievable. Stay away from this location.

Been a loyal H&R Block customer since high school (2010), but this Tampa Bay location dropped the ball.
Had a complex issue with my Healthcare Marketplace tax document (not blaming them for that portion). I worked with the Healthcare Marketplace to address the issue, followed by instructions on how to proceed with my taxes in the meantime, and then informed H&R Block, but they just pushed for an extension and payment (pushy sales vibes). Switched to TurboTax and got a much bigger refund ($1,900 vs. -$1,100). Disappointed, but moving on.

The online platform wasn't working and my husband had to take time off from working to drive to an office to sign the final paperwork. Wich we found to be inconvenient.

While my Tax Expert has been great this year and last, the cost has always been a little steep, and with the level of detail I provide, which is all extremely organized, it only takes about 30-minutes or less to complete. When the annual total averages around $500 each year, that equates to roughly $1,000 an hour.

They don't know the basics of taxes. i was forced to take insurance just in case they messed up. It took 3 HR and they were not able to explain my returns clearly. First and last visit?

H&R Block should be named H&R Animals haters, these people are inhumane and cruel.They kicked me out because I took my small poodle with me, they say they it H&R policy no pet inside when I told them there is no such a policy with any place except crossers ( what my dog going to eat? Will he eats your computer) then they say oh we placed an allergic person in every location we have.This is just a stupid thing to say, I will never do business with H&R Block ever again.

Made a appointment to get my taxes done and they cancelled the appt on me the day of due to someone not showing up for work. They stated I could do them via mail in option in 2-3 days. In two days I received a call from Raeef who I had a really hard time understanding. He didn’t know the answer to one of the questions so he said he would call me back, he never did. I made several other attempts to call the office throughout the week and no one returned my calls. Eight days later I called again now 4/18 and the answers still are unknown and no other taxes representatives were willing to assist. I have been told the manager Maryland would assist however I have heard nothing from her and it’s almost 7pm. Tried calling and they hung up on me. My recommendation is find any other company other then H&R Block to do your taxes.

I setup a Sunday appt @ noon. Tax preparer never showed up. Gentlemen at the front desk was kind, however this is extremely disappointing for a corporation to have their employees disregard their customers like this. I've gone to h&r for 3 years and I will not be coming back.
