We love this place! It is spectacular! We had fun and great experience today. Just make sure you go in early so that you can find parking easily. Also, every 1st Thursday of the month the fee is $5/person. Not so sure if that will change later. But for now, every 1st Thurs of the month that special applies. The place is huge, they have play area, pony ride(extra $5/child), petting zoo, Thomas the train ride (additional fee), picnics shades area to rest we love the one by the lake with the fountain in the middle you'll see ducks and birds everywhere and you get to see the train stopping by as well. The place clean, restrooms available and sanitation as well. They have a barn for wedding, birthdays to rent, it's a beautiful place. We love the parrots so much we keep coming back on their nest. They also have zip lining for the kiddos to enjoy. The staff are awesome, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone with kids to enjoy and experience outdoor fun zoo.

From the moment I stepped into Horsepower for Kids & Animal Sanctuary, I was embraced by a warm, family-like atmosphere that is so unique and heartening. This place is a testament to love and dedication, not just a farm or a zoo, but a sanctuary where animals are cherished and respected. The health and happiness of the animals here are evidently the top priority. Each animal, be it the playful goats, the majestic horses, or the cheerful birds, seemed exceptionally well-cared for, showcasing bright eyes and lively spirits. Witnessing animals that are not just kept but deeply loved and valued was incredibly moving.Horsepower for Kids & Animal Sanctuary is a must-visit for all ages. It offers an enlightening journey into the lives of various animals, making it an educational experience for children and a thought-provoking visit for adults. This sanctuary educates us about the importance of animal care and conservation in a very engaging and interactive manner. In summary, Horsepower for Kids & Animal Sanctuary is more than just an attraction; it's an enriching, educational, and heart-touching experience that leaves you with a deeper appreciation for nature and its inhabitants. Whether for a family day out or a solo visit to reconnect with the natural world, it comes highly recommended.

This place is great for young kids. There are lots of play areas with a variety of activities. Animals are safely contained, happy, and well cared for. One volunteer lovingly played with the emu, ad its obvious they care about animals and have strong relationships with them. It is a huge property with so many cool areas to explore. My kids spent 3 hours there and could have spent more. I will certainly be returning and donating extra $$.

Had the chance to bring my entire family, including my grandkids aged 4 through 7, to this incredible place. What an amazing experience! We were fortunate to have Karen as our personal guide. I'm not sure if this is a standard offering, but Karen graciously agreed to show us around. She was truly fantastic, displaying a profound knowledge of all the animals, and her passion for her work was evident. Karen not only acquainted us with the diverse array of animals but also shared the rich history of HorsePower For Kids. Despite the name, which might suggest a focus on horses, this venue is a delightful visit for individuals of all ages. I wholeheartedly recommend Karen and HorsePower for Kids – they have earned my highest praise.

Staff are great. Life long workers tells you something about the place. Great to have parties. Different animals from around the world. Love it here. Very chill. Bathrooms are barn/boarding bathroom level. Would like it a little brighter in the bathroom but it’s clean. Handicap accessible. Fun for kids. Love the little cows.

This place is fantastic! In my opinion, it's even better than the zoo at Lowry Park in Tampa. It's only $14 a person to get in, which is amazing for what you get. Last time we stayed there for 5 hours, and my kids never got bored. They've got so many cool animals; some I'd never even heard of. Feeding and petting the goats was easily my kids favorite and admittedly the little goats were pretty cute even though I really dislike goats. There is a little playhouse village area, an awesome little gas-powered ride on train, 2 different playgrounds, ziplines, trampolines, a corn pit (which my youngest was obsessed with playing in, who thought corn could be so fun?), pony rides for the little kids, Guinea pigs you can hold, and a small petting zoo area. There's more that I'm forgetting, there's just so much to do.There are picnic tables all over so you can bring food, and covered shelters you can rent for parties.10/10 will be back often for sure!

Where do I even begin? This place was simply amazing. I booked a birthday party for my 2 year old who adores animals and it did not disappoint. Everyone had a blast! The owners really put so much thought into everything. I didn’t catch the gentlemans name but as soon as we arrived he offered to take our things to the shelter, super helpful and kind. From the train ride to the pony rides to the zip line..there’s so much to see and do. Even though my 2 year old was quite content just going down the slide for hours she especially enjoyed feeding the goats as well as the petting zoo. We can’t wait to go back! I’m so glad I found this place.

Fun afternoon at a local stable which has numerous farm animals, as well as animals not local to this area or country, like kangaroos, activities for kids include train rides on 3 types of trains, zip line, 2 playground areas, pony rides; this month is their annual Halloween Octoberfest event, so they had some inflatables, pumpkin patch, hay bale tower, face painting, art table, clown act by professional clowns, balloons, food trucks including tacos and Spanish fare, as well as hot dogs.

AMAZING… I went there today and my daughters had a blast!!! They rode the pony and play at the bounce house and the zip line, a lot of animals and they all look well taken care of, the cages are clean and they have food.. chickens running freely, same with peacocks. My kids petted the Guinea pigs the rabbits, they also loved the maze, they played a lot what its great so they can take all that energy out!!! ? , a lot things for the kids to play and don’t get bored, they also rode the train, we stayed there for 3 1/2 hours…(by the way the girl at the bouncy house was such a sweetheart, talked to me about how everything started with the owner and the story of pepperoni the pony that recently passed away) Totally Recommend it!! ?? ? ? ? ? ♥️

Always an amazing experience! This is a great place to take your family for a day of wholesome fun outdoors. Every time we visit, it feels like spending time at a family's farm. There are plenty of things to do, including picnics, train rides, interacting with the animals, playing in one of many child friendly areas, and navigating a maze. What makes Horse Power so special is their dedication to rescue and rehabilitation of their many animal residents on location. It's extremely child friendly but also a great time for adults as well. The pricing is low and makes this a must-see if you are in the area . From farm animals to exotic species, this place has it all.
