Today I shopped in the store. So many employees putting out new merchandise and worrying about consolidating to make room that no one would help the customers and they were in the way of shopping. These activities should be done before opening or after closing.

Beautiful store! But today I just needed matching bath towels and rugs and a simple glass flower vase. None to be had. There was a whole row of white towels and rugs. Few other colors and none that were matched sets. And no simple glass flower vase. Disappointed, I went to Walmart across the street. A dozen different colors all sitting next to their matching bath rugs. I still love Home Goods but not today.

Employees were goofing around in the aisles while a Huge line of about 20 customers wrapped around the store. They had 2 new employees working the registers - no one else. Neither knew what a tax exemption was - and I don't mean how to activate it, but actually didn't know what the words "tax exemption" meant. Our company buys from them a lot and has tax exemption so I had to wait for a manager. The people in front of us had some discount that took about 10 minutes for a manager to come over. Then the manager disappeared again before our tax exemption could be applied. The cashiers are undertrained and underpaid at this location. The corporation is showing huge profits on their P&L - and not pushing those profits down to the training for employees. A flimsy bookshelf was $400. I can get a nicer one delivered to my door on Amazon for $120. Prices have gone up here, while quality and customer service has gone down.

I love Homegoods in general. But lately i have faced this issue multiple times. Their stickers should not be sticked to the actual product! There IS a paper label where you can put it on instead. I was very annoyed by trying to remove this non-easy peeling sticker after socking in a hot water for a while. This is Def Wasting customers time for no reason. Please dont do this anymore.

Fun store for a little kid-free time. The staff here does a good job at keeping a Ton of stuff organized somewhat neatly. Feels a bit like a treasure hunt still, but not overwhelming or messy.

The store is practically spotless on being clean. There are an overwhelming amount of items. If you can't find what you're looking for here, then it may be hard to find elsewhere.
