If I could give them 0 stars i definitely would. Said the car would be available Saturday. Called Friday night to tell me it’ll be there on Saturday but they don’t know what time. For me to call them back and them say “we don’t know when it’ll be here”. Then couldn’t even call the Tampa airport to see when the car was coming to the Tampa location (12 miles away).

Everyone knows car shopping can be total a nightmare, but these guys at this hertz location made it painless. After visiting two other hertz dealerships im glad I came to this location. Jesse was patient and knowledgeable. Not the typical pushy carsalesman. He allowed me to view, inspect and test drive my ev until I was satisfied with making the purchase. If you’re on the market for a pre owned Tesla at an ultra low price, stop by and ask for Jessie. If they don’t have what you want at that time, if you’re patient he can get it.

Bait and switch advertise vehicle only to be told it's not ready to be sold? Why advertise something not for sale? Clearly bait & switch process from the sales staff and the alleged location manager Natalie & staff (Michael D)Interesting enough look at the prior reviews quite a few reporting the same behaviors. "We'll contact" won't happen- Poor repeated customer service all around.

Appreciate the customer service!
Though the car we were looking for was sold, Erika at sales was kind enough to answer all our questions about EV vehicles patiently.

Terrible customer service.
One of the workers took our phone numbers regarding a vehicle that was in transit to the dealership. She explicitly told us that she would contact me a few days later on a Monday giving us an update.
Monday rolls around, no update. So of course, I write around lunch time asking if there were any updates... "crickets" No response.
A few days pass and I decide to call her number. I explain how I had contacted her about an update and how we were waiting on her message. No apology, and absolutely no acknowledgment of her ignoring me. She simply said that they were no longer going to receive the vehicle.
She wasn't even planning on letting us know. Just so unprofessional for a "dealership". Take yourself to a real dealership rather than these knock off establishments.

I recently purchased a new Ford Mustang from Hertz Car Dealership, and I must say, it was the best experience ever! Being from out of state, I was a bit anxious about the process, but Jesse and Mike were absolutely amazing. Jesse called me before my arrival to ensure everything on the car was perfect, providing me with peace of mind. When I arrived at the dealership, Mike helped me in every way possible, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. Their professionalism, friendliness, and dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out. I couldn't have asked for a better team to assist me. Thank you, Jesse and Mike, for making this a fantastic experience! Highly recommend Hertz Car Dealership to anyone looking for their next car.

Mike was the worst car salesman I have ever came in contact with, and that says a lot. Horrible attitude with an even worse EAR! Take your business elsewhere!!!!!! Not to mention the car they showed me was infested with roaches with a sticky trap inside the car. Yikes

I was low balled on my trade in and was told on the phone before I arrived that they offered tax credit for electric vehicles on their lot but that’s not the case. They have it set price wise so that your vehicle doesn’t qualify for the tax credit. I wouldn’t trust this place for my car needs.

As a first-time car buyer, I had an amazing experience at this dealership. They truly cater to first-timers, with no dealership fees ,I ended up with a Chevy 2023 electric SUV with just 1,400 miles on it, and I absolutely love it! The monthly payments are low, making it the perfect early birthday gift to myself. A special shout out to Jesse for his amazing customer service and assistance throughout the purchasing process, definitely went to longhorn steak house to celebrate after.

Accommodating, no pressure. Maybe better price than dealer, bit higher than some independents, bur 12 mo warranty, so overall good experience

I give Hertz car sales 3.5 stars, but because that's not an option, I'm rounding up to 4.The buying process was really great. I called, asked for the total price, and walked in with a check for that amount. They didn't try to add even one cent of extra fees. It was actually slightly less than the price the website quoted, tax and all was included. Fantastic! Avis car sales down the road wanted $3,000 over what the website quoted with tax and fees. Jeff helped me out and was a big part of the reason Hertz gets a good review. The process was transparent, easy, and stress free. However, the reason for the lowish star review is the quality of Hertz's Certified Pre-owned inspection. I get the impression that they simply said "yup, it's a car and it's pre-owned, I certify that" because I have found several issues with my car that should have been caught. Here are the issues I've found so far and the cost associated to fix them. I do all of my own labor so there were no labor costs. No engine air filter - $20. Who knows how long the car had no filter.New brake pads - $44. The rears were ground down to the metal which means I also needed to buyNew rotors - $199. The rears were warped, especially the drivers side.Floor mats - $65. Apparently they just don't come with mats and I didn't think to look.Cabin air filter -$22. It wasn't missing, but I'm pretty sure it was the original filter. It was gross.Windshield wipers - $24. I was told by the manager (Ray, or Jay, I can't remember) told me they were new. They were not.Tire air caps - $5. The car had none. I knew this when I bought it though. The windshield is covered in scratches that make seeing at night so hard that it's actually scary sometimes. I'm not entirely sure what the cost to fix this will be, I'm still looking at my options. The fluids are all in good shape, with brake fluid and engine oil looking new though I'm pretty sure the engine oil was the wrong viscosity. I sent a sample to an oil testing service but it'll be a few weeks before I get the results. I'll update when I do. I didn't include this cost, which was not cheap, because it's me being pretty "extra". But I felt it was necessary after finding out about the air filter. The buying process was great, but I worry about the integrity of the car and how well it was maintained before going up for sale, especially about the air filter because that could drastically shorten my car's engine life.I'm not sure if I would buy from them again, or recommend Hertz to friends. Though if I do I would recommend Jeff.Update down to 3 stars. My car is starting to have transmission issues. Hertz never reached out or anything, they simply replied to my review with the same generic message as they do everyone else. It definitely doesn't feel like me or my business matter to the company.I'll update once I know what's going on with the car, and maybe I'll be testing out Hertz's warranty.

Poor customer service and sales department. Long story short, we drove in from Jacksonville to purchase a vehicle that we were told would be ready by Monday (today), but that we should be there by 12 because there was a lot of interest in it. We said we would be there and ready to purchase. We got there at 11:00 after a four hour drive and even confirmed it with the sales person over a phone call about halfway through the drive. She confirmed the car was there. We got there and the car was there but not ready to sell. She said the painter had to call out over the weekend, but she never checked on the vehicle when we spoke to her on the car ride. They said it would likely be the next day before it was ready, and there were no options for us to purchase the vehicle. They said our best option was to hang out in Tampa for the next day or two and they will call us and as long as we beat the other people there, we could purchase it then or we could finance with them and be the first to respond once they put it on the lot. We were there with cash ready to buy, but there were no options to buy the vehicle. Very poor communication and seems like a lack of training. The listing also had it listed as leather seats, but was in reality cloth. When asking her about that, she just said, well it was listed as leather.... (also never checking I guess).

We bought a vehicle during the early COVID panic when Hertz was trying to unload about 1/3 of their fleet of vehicles. No haggle price, no hidden or pressure for extra warranties, 12 months or 12,000 mile powertrain warranty. My best and only non regret dealership purchase ever.
