We have a toileting/showering wheelchair that needed new brakes. I had those but couldn't get the old ones off. Haley completed the job in less than an hour and it now works great and is so much safer. Thanks to both Haley and Shawn for continuous great service!!

Edit to add: A few days after my previous review, I went in to buy a wheelchair for my wife. Again, there was excellent customer service. Haley showed me how to work the wheelchair features and attachments. She, and the other gentleman working, were both friendly and helpful. They deserve my highest recommendations.-Original review:I needed a "Walker Platform Armrest Attachment" for my wife, who recently broke her wrist and kneecap in a fall. I needed it in a hurry, to attach to a walker we already had.I called Helios Medical Equipment. The woman who answered knew exactly what I needed and agreed to help install it.I drove there, and while I was getting out of the car with the walker, she already knew who I was and brought the part out from behind the counter. She installed it and adjusted it based on her height, which is the same as my wife's. She showed me how to adjust it, if necessary. It works well, does the job.This was excellent customer service to a stressed and anxious husband. Kudos. This is a very good store for medical equipment.To the young woman who helped me: thank you.

AWSOME COMPANY!!!My father has cancer and was in desperate need of a hospital bed. I called several medical supply places on a Friday morning. Every place said” you want a medical bed today? You will have to wait until Monday. In my next search I found Helios Medical. They were closed so through the website I left all my information for a return call. Before they even opened I received a call from the owner Shawn. I explained my situation and he said no worries. We will have a bed on the way in 20 minutes. And they did! Due to medical reasons our stay was extended and we had to relocate to another place during the holidays. This company last minute moved the hospital bed to another location and picked it up the day after Christmas. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Dealing with a family owned business does make a difference!!!! Thank you Shawn!

Shawn is a wealth of information of how to guide you to the correct aids to help you with your health conditions. He helped me with my lymphodema immensely. Plus we ordered a lift chair through him and it was going to take a little longer than expected to come in so he personally delivered a loaner till mine came in. Just awesome customer service and a great caring heart!

i came to Helios looking for a power lift chair after a very long hospital stay that left me unable to stand up on my own from low furniture. Shawn (or Sean maybe, sorry if I misspelled!) was such a great help in my quest. Helios has a nice selection of Pride power chairs, and he helped me pick the perfect one for me. He was very patient with me, even staying after closing time to answer all my questions and have me try out the different models. He also discussed several options for leg compression at length with me and even offered to take a three-way call with my vascular doctor to help find the right products for my needs. He knows his products very well and clearly cares about his customers. I won’t hesitate to come to Helios in the future for medical supplies and I enthusiastically recommend Helios to other patients!

I recently had a total knee replacement. My husband went to Helios to find things that would help my recovery and my mobility. We have both been very pleased with everything that was recommended and everything that we purchased along with the service that we received at Helios. I’m sure it will assist in my recovery.

Fantastic experience! Shawn was super friendly and helpful! Answered my questions and made sure I knew everything about my scooter. When I told him that I wasn’t able to afford a certain scooter he found one to fit my budget. Totally recommend anyone looking for medical equipment this is the place to go..

Got out of the doc and needed to find an air cast by tonight. It was 5:50 and we were 15 minutes away. I called and spoke to Miss Hailey, she said she had what I needed and she would stay open for me.We arrived 5 minutes after they were supposed to have closed and she still took her time to help me find a boot that fits and a cane to use in the airport for my trip tomorrow.Man, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Hailey. I would have had to cancel or at least postpone my trip if it weren’t for her.

Good signage, easy to find. Getting out of the parking lot to go back southbound is a pain, but it's a Tampa traffic issue not Helios fault

My mother is unable to get out of bed without a lift. When the battery died and the new one hadn't arrived Shawn came out to my house three times on a Saturday to make sure the lift was in operation . I really felt that he cared as much as I did about my mom's situation. Other companies offered a visit next week. Can't give enough stars for his caring and service.

All I can say is "wow" I wouldn't buy from anyone else. Shawn and Haylee are two genuine, sincere people that go above and beyond for their customers! Even to the point of staying late on a Friday night out of the kindness of their heart to assist me with a medical device I purchased that I couldn't set up correctly. They are not all about making the sale, they are about helping people in need. Hopefully that will bring them all the success and business they will ever need. Much gratitude to you both. Your service was excellent. Your care and concern made me a loyal customer after the first visit.
