I can't associate with anyone that likely supports the harboring of a child that never had the chance to be raised by her actual father I saw the facts that man never had the chance to care for his daughter. The family is disgusting as well should of returned the child the moment they found out she had a parent who didn't agree to this adoption the fact that they still wanna keep this child instead of giving her to the one person that actually deserves to have her is wild. Saying he abandoned his daughter by not providing for her while not in his custody is pathetic and frankly I wouldn't give a cent to people that gave away my child without my permission and I wouldn't give the family that has no issue keeping my child from me... they wouldn't get a cent from me either. I would do what I gotta do and move very far away. Yall are sick

Heart of Adoptions, Inc. guided us through the adoption process, from bringing us together with our newborn son all the way to finalizing our adoption. After four and a half years of waiting for an adoption placement, we couldn’t help but feel a lot of anxiety mixed in with all our hope. Amy is an amazing social worker and was always quick to respond to calls, texts, and emails. She gave us so much peace of mind as we went through all the steps of adopting our little baby boy and answered our many questions with patience and grace. Right away, Amy processed all the basic information that the state of Florida needed to approve our home study and talked us through the steps Florida does in adoptions.Once Amy cleared us to fly from Illinois to Florida, she connected us to Gift of Adoption, an organization that helped us with adoption expenses through a grant. She started calling our little baby by the name we had picked out for him even though we hadn’t been physically present to sign anything yet, and it warmed our hearts that she was eager to prove to us that the connection was real and that we were really going to be parents at last. It is plain to see that she has a real heart for adoptive families and wants to make the connections happen as smoothly as possible. Amy went above and beyond by checking in with our little guy at the hospital and picking him up when he was discharged, meeting us at her office, which was closer to where we were staying. She cared for him while she waited for us to navigate through traffic and even swaddled him up in a blanket and beanie just to do a quick photo shoot before readying him for his car seat. We adore those pictures and appreciate all the love and care she showed our son as he waited for us to arrive.The Heart of Adoptions, Inc. agency had steps and paperwork so streamlined that we were often surprised by how quickly everything was processed. Amy was able to use prior experience with Illinois agencies to anticipate any problems or questions they might have, so she had our ICPC coordinated and approved in less than a week, and we were able to travel home with our son much sooner than we ever expected. Heart of Adoptions coordinated well with our Illinois social worker for follow-up visits and information, and the law offices of Jeanne T. Tate that work with Heart of Adoptions did a great job taking over the next steps and walking us through to finalization. When our case was closed, Amy made sure we knew all the details of our account, had everything processed according to our wishes, and included a ledger for tax purposes. We can look back and reflect that Heart of Adoptions, Inc. has done an excellent job of making everything in our adoption process go smoothly, and it is thanks to the hard work of social workers like Amy and her team that we have become parents for our darling little boy.

Extraordinary agency, which is a testament to its leadership over the years, the professionalism of the team employed, and the sensitivity exhibited to birth mothers, birth fathers, and prospective adoptive parents. Plus, the institutional knowledge of the long-term staff is an enormous asset. It is seasoned leadership and a staff dedicated to creating forever families in a manner which respects all parties.

Worst place ever. Do not go through this agency. They literally will lie to u about everything and do whatever they want. Avoid them like the plague they are. Trust me, worst agency. Do not go here. And avoid Gabby in Naples. Horrible liar

When I had to consider adoption I was scared but most of all angry. Not many women are willing to give up their child for any reason. I was not able to give him the home and environment he needed to thrive. I as a mother was ready. This was during the height of covid and my house had to go up for sale. I did this because I knew I would not be able to give him what he truly deserved. It was the most selfless thing I have ever done. I kept the adoption open so I am able to speak to the mother and see pics and someday maybe more. The best part was describing the type of parents I wanted for my son and Carolyn, my case worker who was outstanding, sent me a few familiesand descriptions of them. I could choose if he has siblings or one parent it didn't matter. After I chose my first selection of whom I thought he would thrive the most with; they gladly accepted. Carolyn did everything for me. It was a hard thing to do but she was there at every step. I chose non profit because I truly did not want to give up my baby and I knew that any parents that were going through this agency must have been doing a good and consistent job of proving they were a good fit for adoption. The parents are great to him and good to me.Thank you Carolyn and Heart of adoptions.

This has been the worst experience of my life! This adoption agency is for the adoptive parents and the adoption parent ONLY!!!!! Unfortunately the adoption parents have made this process so very difficult. We have an open adoption and it’s never been open they don’t hold up to our visitation agreement nor our photo agreement and the agency does absolutely nothing. I called for 3 weeks in a row to get information about setting up a visit and I just got the run around that they would reach out to adoptive parents and each time I called I was told they have been unable to reach them. Not until I demanded to speak with the director of this horrible establishment were they immediately able to reach the adoptive parents which I find very interesting. Needless to say please stay very far from this so called adoption agency.

Heart of Adoptions was great at facilitating our interstate adoption from FL to IL. We received a lot of support from Amy and Meredith and we're matched quickly. We very much appreciated Amy's honesty and helping guide us through the match period to placement. She answered our questions no matter what time of day or even when we would ask the same questions. Adoption is a journey and you need all the help you can get from the experts. We are overjoyed with our baby girl and highly recommend Heart of Adoptions if you are looking at an agency to start your family.

Heart of adoptions was great in helping navigate an intrastate adoption to Wisconsin. Daneille was terrific, and helped us get through some uncertain times. All came out well in the end, thanks to Daneille and the staff at Heart of Adoptions. They were great!

Our experience with Heart of Adoptions was wonderful. Carolyn was great about keeping us informed and being sensitive to the needs we had, as well as those of our birth mother. We had connected with the birth mother and so we were completing an identified adoption and we live in another state, so it was important that they notified us quickly about any and all forms, etc., that Florida needed; they did a great job with this as well.
